Rooney is helping Rodriguez settle in.He's made him feel comfortable by being worse than he is.To be fair though Rooney did help nearly set a goal up on 44 minutes but till then he was invisible.But the commentator made it sound like he was doing well and showing the others what to do.

The center of defence looks wide open.I actually thought Milner looked quite good at times,found some good positions and from one good break we nearly scored early but overall Chile have shown us how to play .

Basically Hart's fault for the goal,Milner's fault that we haven't dominated midfield and Francis Lee's fault for being too old that we haven't scored yet.

England = pile of steaming donkey shite.

I can only remember us playing Brazil and I'm sure we held our own? Tonight though, too much age with Stevie Starfish and FF, and what can we expect with Duncan Jones out there, Johnson sat in their penalty box and Shrek trying to play in every position possible.

Quality ball playing centre backs in Jones,Cahill and Smalling and then the sheer quality in midfield of Cleverly,Henderson and Lampard.

Good job that wasn't Hart in goal.Didn't have that much to do I suppose.Can't blame him for the goal but palming that cross to the penalty spot wasn't good and then lying down for the last goal was awful.

That made pretty grim watching; we were given a footballing lesson in the arts of overall technique, passing and positional play by a decent, but not world beating side. Makes me wish I'd switched over to 'Children in Need' instead.

Just a thought though (and perhaps Sis could advise on this) but, apart from anything else in the build up play, could the 'keeper have done better on the first Chilean goal ??

Perhaps I'm cynical but if it had been Joe conceding a goal in such a way, there would have been a media outcry for the firing squad to be called out.

Well we learned that United reserves are not world class.Who would have guessed it. Two strange things. Why had the goalie been instructed to kick, he never threw it once, against a team who regularly kept the ball for two minutes v Englands average of 5 seconds. Second, what was Defoe meant to achieve? Thirdly, deeply worrying how awful Baines was from start to finish. Probably because I've been championing him of late.We think Micah lacks a football brain.
