It just looks a bit daft and a bit desperate to me - I know that we should be more organised but that's not the direction that I'd like to go in.

Germans are great

Thought their fans were just about the loudest I've seen at the Etihad last year. Anyone remember a louder away support?

The Germans have a real talent for chanting and acting in response to the instructions from one shouty man.

All the foreign fans are very impressive in the noise they make, but it'd never work here - the one at the front would get thrown out for standing and everyone else would just treat him like he was a nutcase.

Its impressive for about 10 minutes and then its just monotonous. Celebrate and cheer and chant when players and the team are playing well but its totally unresponsive to the game - the go through the same choreographed shite no matter whats happening.

Take the Poznan as example, done by Poznan at anytime their conductor deemed it right, adopted and done by us as a goal celebration - which is remembered most?

We don't do the Poznan as much ... miss that, was such a great celebration for us ... we better bring it back ASAP!

I know not the issue, but since it got mentioned, thought I'd write I miss the Poznan!

Agree mate, first game i get back to I'm doing it when we score just because i'd be able to!!

Always thought the poznan was a good laugh and a gimmick but these things have shelflives and become cringeworthy. Look to the next craze is what I say. Lets poznan if we win the league and not if we score a goal.

I think I said in the predictions thread a couple of seasons ago that we'd bring back the inflatable bananas and get a fine and/or ban from UEFA. I honestly wonder what would happen if we used them on an international stage now, with our current exposure...
