As it meant that I saw the 6th goal and I like seeing up score goals, it's a big part of the reason I go to the games.

Same as me mate. When I'm home I never miss a minute. Why pay all that money to fuck off and leave your team with swaives of empty seats?
Never understood it but each to their own as they say.

They should install software that is able to recognize when a seat has been vacated prior to the end. Identify who owns the ticket and charge them an extra £1 per minute vacated early to buy their next ticket (or £1 per minute vacated per game for next season ticket). I suspect this would change the behavior quite quick.
Just stupid to think it is worth saving yourself 30 mins in traffic after already dedicating a few hours to see your team play. Makes us look like prats, and is disrespectful to the players who just entertained you with 7 goals. Stay for the whole thing or don't buy tickets at all. Imagine people leaving a movie or play 10 minutes early to "beat traffic"! Cunts.

I hope you got to your seat on time, too!

I wonder what our players thought when the final whistle went to confirm we had won 6-0, and the ground was half empty?

I always stay till the end whether we're winning, losing (not that it happens much) or drawing. Pisses me off when people go early cos they obstruct my view as they walk past. If they're so bothered about beating the traffic then stay at home and watch it on tv

Agree mate! Never left a game early win/lose/draw - its all about showing your support for the players on the pitch for the effort they've our in for the team and our club.
And theres always the last second goal - you'd think people would learn ;-)

7 goals? Damn, was there an encore?
Other than that, I agree with you. One of my rag mates said that have the same problem. His suggestion was to keep the does shut until the final whistle and make you use the turnstiles to get out. You'd be allowed a couple of early darts a season, but anymore and it counts against you when applying for final tickets etc.

People still haven't learnt their lesson ... we won the league after coming from behind in extra time ... and I know a lot of idiots who left even on that day.
Fucking hell, next time just don't bother coming if traffic bothers you so much!

Can never ever fathom it out. I worked with a bloke who took his 10 year old son to THE QPR game and left with ten minutes to go says his son was in tears all night. There's two blokes that sit near me who leave 15 minutes before the end of every game irrespective of the score. Add that up over a season and they're missing over three games a season. Utter cocks.

Under my newly thought scheme, leaving 15 mins early for every league home game would cost an extra 270 quid for the next season ticket. And rightly so.
Have you ever got an explanation of why from them?

They sit two rows directly in front of me would love to ask them but would probably end in an argument because whatever they said I wouldn't agree with them!!

Utter cocks maybe, but think of the empty roads 5 minutes before the end.
This kind of discussion gets aired all the time on that *cough* other City forum and there are plenty of people ready to defend to the death their right to leave 5 mins early. I suspect for many the game is more of a habit, or a social event. They would miss City if they didn't come and are committed enough to be there every week, but they want to finish their drink before the game, they like a pie at half time, and they have to be home in time for Strictly Come Dancing. I don't like to miss a minute and hate it when I have to crane my neck as a stream of people get up and walk past as half time approaches, but I guess some people are a little more relaxed about the game.

Sat around me in 212, its always the same ones............... 8 or 9 mins to go their heads pop up like Meer cats and dash up the stairs to the exit. It does my tits in. We finish every home game only 70% full and it looks shite on the tele, looks shite to the players and the owner in Abu Dhabi must pull his fucking hair and the ungrateful twats.
10 years ago people sat there all the match to watch us against Macclesfield.
Get a fucking Grip.

It annoys the fuck out of me as well. Same nobheads everytime. On the row i sit on it usually around 85mins they start going. Theres a few in front of me that go after 80mins. Fucking cocks it's their loss if they miss goals. Some come late and then go early now that is totally pointles.

I stay til the end but I missed the start, because I thought it was a fucking 2.00 kick off. Just reached the back of the stand when it went in, got to my seat & everyone there had missed it anyway, because those fuckers with the huge flag had taken too long putting it out & it was still over everyone's heads when the ball hit the net.
There are always a bunch of greedy/alcoholic cunts who fuck off before half time as well getting in my fucking eyeline when I'm trying to watch the match. Fat bastards.
