You would hope Spurs would offer some sort of reaction this weekend - bloody well hope so anyway.

Im amazed to see them on the verge of sacking him, but then again Spurs have been "on the verge" of doing something in the Prem and Cups for the past 3 seasons but they never have done. The media do seem to love them quite a bit, and the utter excitement when they win a game is quite startling.

Remember the year we won the Prem, we kept being reminded that Spurs in fact "played the best football" of anybody, arf.

let just hope he gets a result at the weekend, other than that couldnt care too much as to what they do, in the greater scheme of things they are insignificant.

Yeah lets hope they find some venom for the scum game. Im sure boas is as low as a snakes belly at the moment, but hopefully he will adder striker to the line-up and stop constricting the team.

If they get hammered on the weekend, he'll be gone by Monday, could be a win here saves his job.

No more hiding in the long grass, he's on a slippery slope now.

Unrest in the dressing room. Manager about to be sacked. Stories in the paper trying to unsettle them

Who are they playing this weekend?

We'll see if the players are with him or against him this weekend. Hopefully, they'll have some professional pride to play for if nothing else after we HUMILIATED them on Sunday.

Fairly likeable guy. Mentioned it a few weeks ago but it'samazing how much a manager shapes your view on a team. I used to despise Spurs when they had Redknapp, now I'm fairly indifferent. And I used to really dislike Everton when they had Moyes but now I quite like them.

Can't see them getting hammered; they've got the tightest defence in the Premier League.......Oh, hang on though........

He's a bit of an enigma to me. His record is still a little iffy. One good season with Porto, but a league title and domestic cup win there is pretty much meaningless, so you're looking at a UEFA cup win with a club that regularly reaches the last 16 of the Champions League. Good but cups are always going to involve a little luck.

Since then sacked by Chelsea, OK season at Spurs (fifth best team finish in fifth - hardly a shocker) yet he was apparently wanted by PSG and Real Madrid?!

Too early in the season to get rid, unless there really is a massive backroom issue, but he definitely needs to do more to live up to the hype for me.

Jurys out for me as well. Not as yet done anything of note in England. Think he got lucky with Bale last year & has been found wanting in an attacking sense this season, and despite a huge outlay on players, they aren't a fluid side.

Yeah I agree a lot with this, its kind of strange. Its one reason I was so happy Utd took Moyes, because I already really didn't like him so nothing had to change. Suddenly Everton have become a likeable team after all the pain they caused us recently and all the Lescott nonsense.

Tis a funny old game.

For what its worth I like AVB too. I thought it was interesting he mentioned there being a media 'agenda' in the papers. Hes probably not completely off the mark either, although I think he does take things said in the news too personally. He should know as well as anyone its almost entirely bollocks.
