Manchester City v Swansea City
Etihad Stadium, City of Manchester

Sunday 1 December 2013
Kickoff: 4:10 PM

Referee: Mark Clattenburg
Assistants: G Beswick and S Beck
Fourth Official: Neil Swarbrick

----

Right, we are playing on Sunday in a non-TV game because this was originally a Sat 3pm kickoff moved to Sunday due to Swans being in the Europa League tonight. They haven't qualified from their group yet so still an important game for them, against Valencia (who have qualified from their group), but they are playing at home tonight so not a lot of travel for them but still with our players rested mid-week and most of theirs playing tonight, we should have that slight advantage on Sunday with their players a tad more tired ... and with us having scored 7, 5, 6 and 4 in last four home games, well they should feel a little weak in their knees just coming here ...

BUT we must not take anything for granted and especially against a team like Swansea. Their season hasn't started off as well as they'd have expected but still they find themselves in top-10 and have a very good manager and some good individuals and if they sense us becoming complacent at anytime, they could cause us some problems ...

Oh, and before people ask why are we playing at an odd 4:10pm start. There are three TV games on Sunday (ours is not, the other three are) and when that happens on a Sunday, they kick off at 12:00, 14:05 and 16:10 ... and we are simply starting at the same time as the last slot.

Considering the people rested and injuries etc., here's the lineup we will most likely see:

Panti
Zaba - Komps/Demi - Nasti - Clichy
Ferna - Yaya
Navas - Nasri
Aguero - Beast

Kompany is due back now and we might as well play him at home this game or give him at least 45 mins ...

Score Prediction: (considering last two home league games were 7-0 and 6-0, and other two games in CL ended 5-2 and 4-2), I'd go with anywhere between 5 to 8 goals for us and maybe a one off against us.

It's not this game I'm worried about but the next two are AWAY and only with two days gap each ... West Brom on 4th Dec and then Saints on 7th Dec ... so hell go for it this one and thrash them all out, a continued show of exceptional form at home will be good for our overall confidence going into those two games.

^ I think we can class that as the preview!

Its funny as I was asked to do an interview for a Swansea site and they wanted my prediction. I didn't want to be arrogant and say it could be 5 or 6 without getting out of first gear so I went with 5-2 somehow!

There always rivers for PL games as only in England you can't broadcast these Sat 3pm kick-offs ... overseas they show all the games so foreign tv rivers a plenty (incl. English lang commentary).

If we let that bald cunt Shelvey score against us at home, I will deem our defence as unsalvageable.

If you want to keep it simple and not download any software, just go to http://www.wiziwig.tv/competition.php?part=sports&discipline=football and click on the Live symbol by the City game. Then try one of the channels that's described as "Flash". Just click "Play now!" and let the page load. If the quality is really crap, try another one.

Bets of luck mate! I got it on the telly!

They had a perfectly good equaliser ruled offside and have petered out this second half.

Thier keeper is grim though, ridiculous punch out when he could have caught it which led to the Valencia's goal. Before that they were looking OK.

So Swans are in a bit of bother for the weekend as last night both Bony and Rangel got injured in the Europa League and Michu already was a doubt.

One defender, four midfielders and six strikers?

And certain people are questioning our need for four.

Zaba Komp Demi/Lescott Kolo
Yaya Fern
Navas Nasri
Negredo
Aguero

Subs : Guidetti, Rodwell, Milner - getting game time

Nasti seems to be still injured
