The view from the Away End

Image

So, the third home game on the run, and I fully expect a third win. The swan’s fans have zero confidence in their team for Sunday. I also saw a comment that they think Aguero is injured after the game on Wednesday! I think they are in for a shock when the team sheet is announced, and once again I feel confident

Team selection

Vorm..Rangel(if fit)..Ash...Chico..Davies..Canas..Britton..JDG..Pablo..Dyer..Alvaro...

My Favourite

Do we have a 'hiding under the table' smiley?

And the rest...

Alright forget about that farcical game tonight.. I genuinely think we're f*cked against man city.. we need to keep it better than we have all season.. limit set pieces and hopefully pinch something. We look doomed

If we get out of Manchester with a point on Sunday it will be one of the best results in the history

batten down the hatches. Dive

Two rows of five no striker lump the ball high, pray and hope City play their youth team

1-1 is my prediction for sunday. If we can keep it solid in defence for the first half and maybe nick a goal on the counter attack they will start to get frustrated. Have to go and play without fear and make sure we dont show them too much repect. Swans always manage to put in big performances when we are the underdogs

vasquez to score the winner on sun

Aguero is out of this world. Pray he picks up an injury that keeps him out/gets abducted by aliens etc.

I'd take a poor performance and a 0-0

4-0, and more to come me thinks

Five for Man City ...They wont be this good two weeks running

I'm already mentally visualising the threads about how we give too much respect to the bigger clubs and never have a proper go at them etc.

I'm glad they tonked Spurs who are nowhere near as good as they are made out to be. Hopefully Man City will now believe they are champions and complacencey will set in, Ashley header to win it for us.

The reason teams park the bus is because it is a highly effective tactic against stronger sides.

I believe we should play 5-4-1, with Amat alongside Chico and Ash sweeping, and Vasquez as the lone striker.
As for the Man City game, big opportunity for us to put a marker down for the rest of the season.

Not a lot of pressure on us and we are well capable of causing an upset there

In any case what is required up front for Citeh is somebody willing to run round like a demon all afternoon closing down and chasing shadows. And I'm afraid that just isn't our Wilf.

Laudrup and coaching staff know whats coming. If we get thumped its down to poor preparation. There should be no excuses and there should be a simple game plan. players need to be alert and concentrate and focus to laudrups plan. Simple!

Teams really do fear coming to us now, almost expecting defeat before they've arrived.

Swansea are a good side but with our form as it is we should be putting in a strong performance and taking home 3 points.

I don't think they'll stick 10 men behind the ball either, that isn't their style. And that should suit us even further!

Thanks cutemanc, enjoy reading these 'view from the away end'

Don't think it will be another landslide victory this Sunday, maybe 2-1

If we can put together a few away wins after this game then teams really will fear us both home and away

Conceding a little possession against footballing sides and inviting them on and hitting on the counter like spuds works. So same again please.

Love it that most fans off the opposition about to visit the Etihad have given up before they've started. It seems some are happy to keep score down and would take a 2-0 defeat if offered! If only it were that simple.

Our next home game after this is Arsenal home and the way it's going (and their next two fixtures are both at home to Hull and Everton) so they'd surely come to us as league leaders ...

Looking forward to the away end views for that game already :)

As always, thanks for sweeping their forums for this ... cheers!
