Messi

Messi

Yeah, it had to be said. You all read the news the past weeks about Messi, if not; http://metro.co.uk/2013/11/22/lionel-me ... n-4197214/

Anyhow, if this might be true, and maybe it is, after all those years, maybe he need something new. Do we have a chance? Would the sheik go for him or Monaco and PSG are hot favorites. Beside that, would we invest almost 300 mil in him?

Would he be 'good' enough to get in our side, unless he could play centre-half ??........

But all joking aside, brilliant though he is, how would he fit in and would he disrupt the style that Pellegrini is trying to instill...and who would be left out to accommodate him ??

However, in the end the story is probably all journalistic nonsense and the only viable team he would want to sign for is the Scum, with all their 'history'.

There's more chance of Garcia being sold for €20m than of Messi rocking up to the Etihad

Scored another hattrick today. That's 32 for Barcelona; 23 in La Liga which is a record. He's scored 352 goals in 350 games for Barcelona. We can only dream....

Unbelievable stats.

The greatest ever imo.

He scored a hattrick after a miserable dive from Suarez that left Rayo in ten men after a 50/50 first half.

He scored 72 in 2011/12; 41 this year already. Hopefully he'll have a rest in 10 days time.

i wonder if he'd score all these hat tricks in a league with better competition. while he's no doubt fantastic, he seems a bit like Zlatan: chewing up the lower leagues for fun.

Our players couldn't get anywhere near him a couple of weeks ago and we're second in the league so I reckon he would

He wouldn't score all these hat-tricks cos Manuel would take him off after he'd got his second to rest him for a game in ten days time!!!
