What happend? Ozil the reason? Tought they had no ambition, seems a hard nut to catch.

Özil is one reason, but I think Wenger's just finally gotten it right / gotten lucky. The stubborn bastard has been doing the same thing for years, being frugal, giving players time to develop, and going for the youth. This season he finally got the cash book out, buying Özil and at the same time Wilshire and Ramsey hit form, and Giroud finally was able to live up to his potential.

As they say, even a broken clock shows the right time twice a day...

Think Flamini's also done a terrific job.
Added some much needed steel to their midfield and allowed the flair players to get on with it.
Ramsey as well has perhaps been the best player in the league this season (although Sergio may have something to say about that).
Giroud's playing well. Their defence is settled too.

Goals are still predominantly coming from midfield which would be a worry. If they buy Dzeko in the window and feed him right, they could go on to win the league I reckon. However if Ramsey gets injured, they may struggle to cope without his goals as Wilshere has been wank and Ozil/Flamini can't do it all themselves.

I think they'll win the league. Like City they've made a great summer signing (Ozil/Negredo) and have a player playing the best football of his career (Ramsey/Aguero) but they've only had one daft result, at home to Villa, and have won away where City lost. City need at least four points from the next two away matches or Arsenal will be running away with it.

The longer they keep winning the more likely it will be they are crowned champs. Confidence will breed. The Arsenal of last couple of years wouldn't have got a 3-0 win today. Still think Chelsea are the team to beat and if we finish above them we win league. Arsenal however certainly can't be dismissed just yet. They are 7 clear ffs

Not enough depth for me to win the league. I would like to see how they progress in the winter/Xmas time when it's games thick and fast and they get a few injuries. I just can't see them wining the league.

We will see what they are like in feb early march. If they are still at the top then I will believe they can do it. The one thing with them still winning now is it puts the pressure on us, every game for us now seems like a must win game. They have 9 points on us we can't afford for that gap to be much more than 6 for now.

Not a hope in hell they will win the league.

This is the best they can possibly be and are going to drop serious points against the big three.

Why? They have a solid a defence as anyone. Their midfield has pace and is full of goals and Gieoud up front is having a right purple patch

They'll stay up there but not all the way to the end. Great season so far.

They have the advantage for sure, and on current for will win it convincingly, be interesting to see how they fair through the christmas pile up - midfield they have plenty of options but, like us in many ways, injuries in defence and they could struggle.

Would be inclined to believe they will drop off and past seasons tell us this may be so, but I haven't seen too many signs that it will happen soon - they've overcome 'blips' fairly well thus far.

City doesn't need four points in next two away matches, we need six!!!!!!

Nine straight off the next three before we meet Arsenal, simples!

They are real potential winners. The defence has finally learned to defend.Flamini is a great buy to fit the defensive midfielder role (Arteta not bad either) and of course Ramsey has emerged into a brilliant midfield goalscorer (even if it a one season wonder) and then there is Ozil.

If you watch matches Ozil is often quiet and peripheral but when involved he is very very good.He has been key to giving Arsenal belief and confidence and they are absolutely key to winning anything.Add to all that and Giroud has developed well through his initial premiership years and is now a good front man.Their balance is right so yes they can win it and it will take a great run from City or someone to beat them.

I think they'll only get better. Walcott is finally coming back from injury, pushing Ozil back towards the middle where he is best. Also once podolski comes back, he'll be like a new signing.

Give it till Christmas. I'd be surprised if they are still top then.

If you check their draw, after the next two weeks things get a bit tough for them. If they are still top by new year I'll be surprised.

They can lose every game from now till Christmas and still be top 5.

top 5 is their usual ambition of late, so i suppose it might be acceptable for a bit.

I am yet to see anyone in the media (or anywhere else) point out that none of their players have won the premier league before therefore they don't have the experience etc. etc.

Yes, they are a good team that need to be taken seriously, of course, but they are not Brazil 1970 quite yet.
