CL Draw : Round of 16

Round of 16 Draw Details
The draw for the Round of 16 will take place this
Monday, 16 December 2013 at 12:00pm CET (11:00am UK Time)
TV Coverage in UK
The draw will be live on Sky Sports News HD (Sky 405) and Sky Sports News (Sky 436) from 11:00am (which'll include an hour of build-up etc.) ... and then at the actual draw time from 12:00pm, also on British EuroSport HD (Sky 410) and British EuroSport (Sky 412).
This will be followed by the Europa League draw straight after, where Spurs are no longer the tournament favorites after the likes of Juventus, Napoli, Benfica, Ajax and Porto have all fallen into it from CL. Uwe's Wigan and Swansea still haven't qualified and will know after their games tonight.
Matchdays
The dates for the Round of 16 ties are 18–19 and 25–26 February 2014 for first leg and 11–12 and 18–19 March 2014 for the second leg.
The seeded teams also get the advantage of hosting the second leg at home. The unseeded teams (including us) will host the first leg at home and then will have to play the second leg away.
Draw Pots
The following are the two pots; basically all group winners are SEEDED teams and all group runners-up are UNSEEDED. One team from seeded will be picked against a team from unseeded. You can't draw the other team from your own group or from your own country in this round. For next rounds (QFs and SFs) it will be free for all in the draw.
Seeded Teams (Group Winners)
Manchester United
Real Madrid
Paris Saint-Germain
Bayern Munich
Chelsea
Borussia Dortmund
Atlético Madrid
Barcelona
Unseeded (Group Runners-up)
Bayer Leverkusen
Galatasaray
Olympiacos
Manchester City
Schalke 04
Arsenal
Zenit Saint Petersburg
AC Milan
Manchester City
We can draw one of the following five for the round of 16.
Real Madrid
Paris Saint-Germain
Borussia Dortmund
Atlético Madrid
Barcelona
Our first leg tie will be a home game at Etihad, which will be (if played on 18/19 Feb) wedged between Sunderland (H) and Stoke (H) ... but if drawn for the 25/26 Feb, then it will be after the Stoke (H) game and just before the Away Derby.
Similarly the crucial away tie (second leg) will be either on 11/12 Mar, which falls in between Villa (H) and Hull (A), or if played on 18/19 Mar, then in between Hull (A) and Fulham (H).
This above depends on whom you draw as the winners of the groups dictates this as well. Groups A-D winners play on the first dates and of the Groups E-H will play on the second dates. So basically if we draw Real Madrid or PSG then we are playing on the first dates (easier for us, related to other fixtures). And if we draw Dortmund, Atletico or Barca, then we will be playing on the second dates, in which only the home leg is right before the Scum (A) game. We are pretty lucky I guess for the away leg dates though, in either case.
Hopefully this answers everything about the draw and next ties in once place!
