OK, so it’s a little late, but I had to brave the streets of Kingston this morning to get my shopping finished. As pointed out in the previous thread, there is not much to share this week. It seems the Fulham fans are fairly quiet. As far as I can tell they are just hoping to have a good afternoon out, and put on a decent show. I’m looking forward to a fantastic afternoon out, and another three points.

While I think about it, I want to wish all fellow Blues a fantastic Christmas and a New Year filled with silverware!!

I will post the views of the scouse1 fans next week, but it will not be until later on Christmas Day.

Team Selection

Stekelenburg
Riether Hughes Senderos Riise
Parker
Sidwell Kasami
Dejagah Kacaniklic
Berbatov

My Favourite

this is Man City we're talking about, a side that have just smashed Arsenal and Bayern.

And the rest...

It´s all about damage limitation. Under 3 goals is a must as it could end up that goal difference decides on relegation or not.

Hughes is needed in that back four but it may be an idea to bring in Boatang to help tighten the defence. City have goals in them and it is essential we have players in midfield who can do a good job when City have the ball.

Our midfield is too old. I love our midfield players but Man City will pass around them and they don't have the legs to run for 90 minutes.
The nice thing is that Man City doesnt like to defend and we might get one early and then hold out. That is our only shot!

We must congest the midfield and look to frustrate City. Then be patient and disciplined and wait for an opportunity.

If we set up like we did against Spurs we can stay compact and combat their pace on the wings.

My biggest worry is Dzeko. Always seems to score against us.

I'm glad zabaleta is out as I don't see riise coping with that all game

what worries me is the whole city team and if we let them get up a head of steam.

Cant wait to get....City out of the way and concentrate on the important games. Just hope the others around us slip up this weekend too!!

can't see us getting much out of the Man City game so lets get in there and cheer the ream so they know we are behind them in the next half a dozen crucial matches

I usually treat my body like a temple. Last night I treated mine like a whorehouse above a liquor store next to a motherfucking Taco Bell.

Let's hope we swamp them in midfield early doors, then. Don't want there to be one goal in it going into the last 20.
