This is NOT a thread about us possibly doing a treble, far from it. I have had the unfortunate opportunity to have a couple of convos with Rags today and both of them have already discounted this season apart from the League cup. They are however telling me that City fans are getting all high and might and think we will win the treble!!! I know I have never even thought it until they brought it up, I have also never heard anyone say it? Has anyone else come across the raglodites and their stupid treble nonsense?

Makes me laugh that they are in the same position in the FA Cup as us, they are in the same position in the League cup as us and they are in the same position in the Champions league as us but have a BETTER draw to progress. Yet they cannot think about their own lot and are more interested in us.

Fans like them make me detest them as a whole, which is a shame as I have a couple of mates who are rags and are really good lads who you can talk to all day about footy and have an intelligent chat, shame they are in a minority.

Most rags dont know when they're getting the piss taken out of them though, there's a distinct lack of humour when it comes to football and thier little empire is crumbling and threatened - even worse that it's us, the team they didnt even care about or we where never really thier derby ...

I can't imagine many City fans imagining a trebble, bit negative really I reccon we're going for the QUAD ;-)

They no better to talk shit like that and know it's them talking us up hoping for us to fail on such a feat and then have a pop at us.

Just remind them they we're not talking quadruples, trebles or doubles, hell, we're not even talking singles yet, but if they are talking about it, that's the biggest praise we can get. Thank you Raggie.

I havent heard 1 single Blue mention the treble.

I do.hope they have set their hearts on the Capital One Cup and we duly piss all over them at wembley.

Did they specify which Treble? As we are in four competitions at the moment there are four different potential trebles we could win. Seriously though, they are the first to mention it in my hearing; I hope they are prophets as well as sad bastards.

Ive got to say the thought that we could win the domestic treble has crossed my mind in that I'd love for it to happen. Also, in that if we performed to our best quality every game it could be feasible.
However, don't think I'd be able to believe anything more than dream of it unless we had the league cup in the bag, had pulled away in the league and were at Wembley in the fa cup (I'd probably need us to be a couple of goals up as well). As for the UCL I'm just glad to be finally out of the group stage if we make it past Barca its a bonus.

I genuinely hadn't even thought about it - it would be pointless at this stage of the season anyway.

I respectfully disagree everyone know we are going for five this season. Don't forget we've already won the Premier League Asia Trophy.

If you change the thread title to 'United', I'm sure we'll get Evenmydoghatesunited's wise words on the matter...

To be honest, I had thought about the Treble. Not as a possibility, but more as to whether Pellegrini was aiming for the League Cup as a safety net, as part of a haul, or if we are simply too strong as a squad to not make the semis...

We are 250-1 to win all 4 trophies with sky bet. I offer no more on the subject.

It's too early to consider this sort of stuff. If we were to make the league cup final and still be involved in the other comps then yeah, then you'd get a mental tally going. But not yet.

We haven't got the 40 points that normally guarantee safety from Relegation yet.

We're a long way off safety yet with this Cavalier Manager and his gung ho attacking football ! Entertainment is for later in the season, let's get relegation out of the way !

They are just giving voice to their fear. Imagine what they'd be like if we actually did it.

Might not be mentioned yet.. but were competing on 4 fronts.

We could easily win the CC, the FA Cup and the PL if it all falls right and luck goes our way.
