So Arsenal didn't run away with the title then

Amazing really.
Pellegrini was a clown & if we lost one more game, then we were out of the title race.
And just a short while later, we are ONE point off the top.
Who would have thunk it ? Duhh, never seen Arsenal do that before. What a fucking surprise.
But of course if we lose to Liverpool, then that's it, all over.
Or could it be, that there are loads of points to play for & no obvious teams who can be relied upon to win every week, just like it was the case when some people were shitting their pants some weeks ago ?

Who in their right mind really thinks the league is won in November?
I don't care if we get spanked 4-1 by Scouse and the biting racist cunt scores all 4 from attacks that area spring from the right side of defense....it won't be fucking over by a longshot.
cheers

But it must be said if we did not make some crazy stupid mistake we would be 4 -5 points ahead now. Aston Vila ,Stoke ,Cardiff just 1 point .

Yes, it has changed round but things can just as easily change back again. It is interesting, isn't it?
WTF is that though?

The only running from Arsnel is out of steam. Ozil and Ramsey look like they are at the end of a season. On the gane to crap/boring sides.

It's a funny season. All of the teams at the top will loose more games. We could have champions that have lost 7-8 games.

Technically the subject should be 'So Arsenal 'Haven't Ran' away with the title 'Yet'
As you quite rightly pointed out the season has a long way to go, there will be many many changes and swaps accross the whole top 6/7 clubs before this one is over. I purposely didnt mention 8th as any club down that far are fooked ;-)

You'll never make a journo Ted. This week Liverpool are running away with it, best thing since sliced bread.
Until Friday morning that is. Soon they'll have to reluctantly go with the bookies.

Im having £5 on a 10 -2 win for us boxing day.
Certain sections of the media will still focus on our defencive lapses though even if we are playing some of the best football this country has ever seen.

I've seen Ozil play in 3 big matches now. Rags away, us away, Chelsea at home. In all 3 games he's been anonymous and done nothing to note.
If he's better than Silva, i'll be fucked.

I think it's a little early to say but the signs are good. I enjoyed the old 'Arsanal' thread with some decent debate in there but I'm not sure what this one is about. Is it:
A. Continue the debate in an adult manner?
B. Try to rub Blues faces in it who had an opinion that Arsenal may go on to win the title?
If it's 'A' then it's all good but if it's 'B' then it's not worth the effort.
As for the Dippers, I think they're very happy to be where they are but their goal it's to make the CL. Anything more than that is a bonus. Tomorrow, they should have no fear of coming to the Etihad as I'm sure they would rather go for the jugular and get 3 points than hope for a draw. Hopefully that will play into our hands.

He's not better than Silva, he's not shite either - he is also in his first season in the Prem.

Received theory is that the media inform the public opinion, that the 'educated by the media' public place the bets and the weight of the betting sets the odds - so you'd think that the odds would reflect the media but, oddly enough, the contrast between the pundits proclamation and the bookies position seems to demonstrate quite clearly that the betting public don't listen to the media hype.
Ergo; it's common and accepted knowledge that the journalists write nonsense to make headlines and that headlines should be ignored.

If we won 10-0 they'll still focus on the 11 that Liverpool could have scored.
I'm happy watching us sneak up the table. Every bookie and pundit says we'll win it, but the media then still focus on someone else. It was Everton who were being tipped yesterday, but I'll bet none of them stick any money on them.

Both.
Re B: People who said the title race was almost over in November, need to look at the recent results, see how utterly ridiculous that idea was & never start with such panicky nonsense again.
Regarding A: I think all of the top teams are seriously flawed, & any could win it. Even if a team went 9 points clear now, unless it was us, I wouldn't be convinced they would stay there. The mid & lower table teams are more competitive this year & will nick points off people, as they have already.
If we get our shit together though, we are a whole lot better than any of them & if we go clear, that could be it.
We have some horrendous fixture periods coming up though, especially if we progress in the League Cup.

And that's what could level it out Ted. Our continued run in the LC and CL and participation in the FA Cup which I believe we will aim for, could well affect our results in the league. The likes of Arsenal ad Chelsea have one less cup to contend with and Liverpool will have thresh legs without any European or League Cup worries to contend with.
However, I still contend that we have the best squad in the league and although some say that our strength in depth isn't the best, it's still better than those around us. That should give us a great opportunity to at least challenge on all fronts even if we do have to pick and choose what our priority is come the latter half of the season.

he was often invisible at RM, too. talented but a bit soft and lazy.

I've noticed Brendon Rodgers aka scroats hasn't posted in awhile calling pellers a clown either.
