this time last year one player was head and shoulders above the others and he went on to win the poty award
this season we have at least 5 to chose from

I think I'd go for Nasri. He is a changed man this season.

Very tough one to call. I will probably say The Beast for me, new to the English game and has taken to it like a duck to water. Has formed a pretty formidable partnership with Kun and has brought the best out of him again after his lean turn out in 2012/13. Never stops trying, works hard and is a team player.

Beast for me, brilliant alongside Kun and has stepped up to the mark while he's been injured! So hard to choose any as they all deserve recognition, a month ago Nasri would have had it nailed on!

Yaya - 13 goals from midfield halfway through the season. A big game player who'd improve every team in Europe.

Nasri definitely most improved on last season, but ferdy has been really good since he got going, think he will get better as season progresses.

Aguero before he got injured. Probably give it to Negredo now though. Don't think navas and kolarov are too far off that list!
