@SamNasri19: Thank you everyone for your kind words and overwhelming support, i suppose its kind of good news that i will be out around 8 weeks

8 weeks def is better than I thought. Glad for him that he'll be okay for the World Cup. What's everyone's thoughts. Do we need a replacement to cover 2 months?

We need Jovetic playing to give us another creative option. Failing that, we've just got to hope Navas/Milner can stay fit.

Thats pretty good TBH, better than I thought initially.

We dont need cover, hopefully Jimmy will get a good run in the team.

Great news! Couldn't really have hoped for much better. It looked really bad last night, and I feared a much more serious injury.

Very, very glad to hear it will only be 8 weeks. Just like when Yaya went down the other game, I was assuming the worst with Nasri. Hopefully he can come back strong and find the same form. Luckily we have enough cover, so he won't be ruched back too soon.

So step forward Jovetic!

Gutted to have him out for 8 weeks as he's been fantastic this season, but it's less than I first feared.

Milner has been superb this season, and Navas has been improving each week so I think we're fine for cover.

Nasri will be back just in time for the league run-in at least.

While it's not good to have him out, a silver lining is that Milner usually steps up in big games and can be used very effectively to break up strong opposing midfields (like vs Bayern). I'd almost rather play Milner-Silva vs Barca than Silva-Nasri.

Definitely good news, I was really worried he'd be out until next season. We should be able to cope for 2 months.

Agree about Milner.

As long as we reach the League Cup Final, the United League game will be postponed and probably re-arranged for late March/April time.

But seriously I'd like to see us getting some cover in even if it is an aging superstar. Not saying Milner cant do it because he can step up definitely but were getting close to bare minimum now.

Obviously not happy he got hacked and injured but am a little happy in it being only eight weeks. Thought we'd lose him for a good few months at least. Misses some big games and would love to see jovetic come into the fold just to give Silva some rest in the lesser games we have to come. Hard couple of months to come and player down in this position aint good. Would also like to see Milner get some game time though maybe more sub appearance will be where we see him.

Pelle might fancy Navas for Barca to really threaten them
