What a nob.

It's not ok to threaten violence to anyone but he fucking courts controversy and attention. He puts up post saying Suarez dived, maybe he did dive, maybe he didn't the point is Stanley if you dish it out, you have to expect it back. He is crying to anyone who will listen and why the fuck are the media giving him so much air time? Who exactly is he? He's no one, he doesn't deserve any attention.

Example:

1) "I think you're a wanker"

2) "I think you're a wanker too"

1) "How dare you I'm reporting you to the police"

Turn off your Twitter account and get yourself a proper job son.

He's a prick! No ones mentioned him for a while so he has to do this.

My favourite was when the Chelsea fan rang up and said Lampard hit the penalty harder than he hit his Mrs.

Im not a Collymore fan but the racial abuse he is getting is quite disturbing and I think thats the crux of the matter here.

It needs highlighting, especially with some of the pondlife on twitter.

Abuse on Twitter beats the pants off of getting your ass kicked in real life, doesn't it Stan?

Since when does suggesting someone dived warrant racial abuse and death threats?

If he is such a no one, why start a thread about him?

Hate collymore with a passion and he deserves to get stick when he airs such pathetic and purposely controversial view to stir stuff up. However he doesn't deserve racial hatred and the level of abuse and threats he is getting.

He said that he was sick of diving and that Suarez dived. He also called Baines out for it on the same show. However, as usual, it's only the Liverpool fans who are unbalanced. He received several death threats and the sort of abuse you can imagine white scum giving a black man.

Collymore is a grade A knob most of the time and a woman beater, so I've little time for him. However, he was right about diving and right to highlight the racist abuse some people still think it's OK to give out

Crossie - your example doesn't really reflect what has happened. I think the consensus among the general population is that Collymore is usually a bell-end, but calling out someone for diving does not deserve a response of racial abuse and death threats.

He has deleted his twitter account now and Ulrika Johnson is sticking the boot in as well asking people not give him a platform to act a Victim.

He was right, Suarez cheated (cheats). Shame people have to threaten a nobody over stating an opinion, and one that is barely disputable based on video evidence. I have only seen him a few times, never left an impression, but no one deserves to be threatened for their opinion, especially on a football match.

We need to separate his point (which is a good one) from his public persona (which is much less palatable). I fail to see why his past indiscretions mean that he should sit back and take loads of racial abuse from strangers.

What he did to Ulrika Jonsson was awful but it happened 16 years ago. She's had plenty of time to tell her side of that well-documented story; why she's chosen to do it now and in a way which undermines his campaign to get Twitter to self-regulate and protect its users from racial and other personal abuse, I've no idea.

I fucking hate Twitter anyway.
