Interesting, what's happened to his contract to front BeIN sports in the Middle East with Keyes?
Edit...ah, I see its a 1 off for tomorrows game.
Interesting though that its being seen as BT and BeIN sports cooperating - if that happens it will be very bad news for Sky and starts to put into perspective BT's recent rights acquisitions

Good. When he isn't doing a scum game he is a decent commentator.
I think he will take this opportunity to shift his allegiance away from that sinking ship. We could do with a bit of positivity from a commentator.

He has been absolutely scathing of them this year on Jazeera / BeIN. Outright blasted them for cheating with the dives, and claims the club is out of control under Moyes and Woodward

That's as maybe but he is better class co-commentator than Owen will ever be.Which was my point in starting the thread.

He's been the resident pundit on BeIN Sport (formerly called Jazeera) since begining of this seaon and I've always found him to be very well informed and fair in all his comments. He has been very positiv e about City since the start of this season.

As long as he doesn't bring that RAG-sucking, smarmy, smug, self-important 'look at all the stars I knew' (but didn't really) Richard Keyes with him I'll be fine.

Again, you might be surprised what has happened to him outside of the influence of sky. I've seen shows this year where he has been really vehement about United's on pitch antics. Both have been generally very positive about city, and very scathing about every aspect of united
