No point in 20 negative threads.
My gripe
Joe hart needs to move on, constant long balls when we are clearly getting bullied. He won't learn.

I have been saying all season. We need a keeper who is good with the ball at his feet like Van de Sar was. No point passing about at the back only for your keeper to hoof it into the middle of the park where you are clearly being out muscled.

I could almost accept it at 0-0 but when we were losing and looking to put pressure on, kicking it long to the leagues best defensive headers of the ball is fucking STUPID. He did it every fucking time.

It's frustrating, and I did have a bit of a whine about the long balls in the match thread, but nobody was showing for us and Chelsea were playing right up against our defenders to prevent us playing the ball out on our terms.

Outwilled i'd say. Lacking killer instinct.

Whilst you partially correct, when he receives a back pass he doesn't move the ball quick enough. Plenty of time to pass to vinnie or Nasti but he holds it and pushes the defence up everytime.

For me Joey was our best lad today, by far.
And that being said, Pellers lost the game for me. Yeah, Demichelis played DM at Bayern in many games, but he had to play with Yaya that never defends. NEVER. Look at the goal, Look who was walking beside Ivanovic. I am a bit in shock on where the fuck was Milner and i just realised that he played less and less the past period.
What the hell happend?
We looked for the first time in ages clueless because of a simple tactic. Use three DM for Yaya and recuperate, recuperate and recuperate.
It worked wonders.
Gutted that we had to lose against that cunt.

Pelligrini got it wrong tonight.
Nastasic.......a liability.......get rid
Demichelis......was like a predestrian most of the game
Goes to show our squad players aren't good enough
Navas worked hard, and Jojo looked lively when he came on

This was very similar to the Bayern game.
First Pellegrini starts with a 4-4-2 against a team with a strong and mobile 3 man midfield. This means the midfield is over-run and we have difficulty regaining possession or creating chances. This also means the 2 strikers up front were islands.
In that game, I remember everyone here screaming for a five man midfield with Milner on for a striker at half-time. It was the same today. What Pellers was waiting for, I don't know.
In that game, Hart's long balls went straight to the opponent. Same today.
Dzeko wastes far too many chances. Good against mid-table teams not against the best.
Against Bayern at the Allianz arena, it was Garcia and Fernandinho who fought valiantly and kept winning balls from their midfield with Silva also closing in. It was a five man midfield with no Yaya, and it worked.

Milner must have been injured, there is no situation I can think of where any sane person wouldn't have had him on at half time, probably for Dzeko or negredo initially, with jovetic on for Demi later in the game once we had regained control of midfiled

Whilst I don't mind a negative rant can we stop blaming Dzeko again. Silva missed our key chances today not Dzeko. Why is he such an easy target when he plays no worse than any other big players.

Then why was he on the bench?

Demi and Nasti. Ones got a football brain but no longer the legs to go with it, the other like a rabbit in headlights!
Pellegrini's lack of further subs after Jovetic.

Not negative but for all our great attacking our defense is not as good this year and we had a whole Jan to re-enforce it. Still glad we didnt let Porto rape us but feeling a bit weak and exposed now.
