Stoke have also handed tickets back. Our ticket prices are one of the most reasonable considering the facilities and the football. I just dont get why some teams away support is so poor.
On another note, the chavs will have double the amount they did last night for the cup game so at least we will be able to give them double grief and I hope that Twat Denis Wise is there again, he was giving it large to the City fans last night.

Chelsea had a lot of empty seats on the upper tier last night.

Tangentially, i was curious about a point -- the play by play cunt calling the match with Tim "Fucking. Stop. Talking. Forever" Howard said at about 88 minutes that City fans were streaming out of the stadium. Any truth in that or just some fucktard sticking the knife in as the usual early leavers did their thing?
cheers

You have picked two teams from poorer areas in the country. Considering it normally seems to be working class people who go to football games most people will have to weigh up if it is worth spending 70/80 quid on a day out to watch their team take a beating. I know I would not.
I recall being at Reading away under Sven and getting a beating by a poor side. I was sitting next to a husband and wife with two young boys. They looked like they did not have a penny to rub together and the kids looks severely malnourished and did not even have proper winter clothes on a very cold day. I sat there wondering how much they spent on coming down to London for a day for a game of football. Everyone has their own priorities but I can't say wasting money on a meaningless game your side is going to lose is one of mine.

True, City fans were streaming out of the stadium, thousands of them. But they do when we're 6-0 up. The team usually waves to about 10k when they leave the pitch, the rest have fucked off down the tunnel.
They all have sick grandmothers/important appointments/kids who have to go to bed 10 mins earlier than if they stayed til the end etc etc. Some will come on here & tell you all about it if you mention it enough.

picked those two because they have been to the ETIHAD and Newcastle have over 50k averge attendance this season, its not all poor people with flat caps and whippets. Sunderland have over 40k average attendace too, they are both in the top 7 of best supported clubs.
