I think we should ask them to look at Rooney's action in the game today against Fulham. As Fulham broke in the attack where Richardson should have scored, just before the halfway line Rooney takes a deliberate kick at Richardson with the ref looking right at them.Of course the ref Mr K Friend never even spoke to Rooney let alone book him.

RVP went over the top with his studs too but the ref ignored it despite the player protesting. Just lucky he didn't make contact

That's why there is a whole loophole in the rule so they can let Scum (and their other cronies) slide through that and punish everyone else who does it to their players or who FA would like to kind of give a hard time ... guess which list we sit (on top of)?

I didn't see Wiggy kick-out at anybody. Surely if he had they would have shown it on loop during the game, after the game, on SSN and then again on MoTD 2.
No, no, no, you must be wrong. Wayne 'The Angel' Crooney would never commit such a dastidly deed, he has never commited such crime.

The bit where this gets ridiculous is that back when the scum played Cardiff, rooney lashed out at a Cardiff player. Ref sees it and awards a yellow.
Yaya does kick out but with nowhere near the same ferocity and he is likely to get a 3 game ban, becasue ref didn't see it on the day.
I think had John Moss (?) seen the incident he would've given a yellow, but these retrospective cards only seem to be red.
When the FA ask the refs to review it they are basically saying 'Are you really going to allow that sort of challenge to go unpunished?'
Hence a ban.
Carroll had no chance of getting his ban overturned last week cos it was Webb, the FA's darling!
Also if they let Yaya off the journos will ask every manager in press conferences today and tomorrow, their views on the incident!
Queue a load of bollocks from Maureen, wenger, et al about decisions favouring us!

He does, especially when he feels he has been sinned against.

Yep. It has been an accident waiting to happen. He even does it when we are 3/4 up.
If he gets done it is probably deserved, something he needs to work on.

If he does get banned our title challenge could be over. Even with our squad we can't afford to lose yaya for any length of time. I've got bad vibes about it.

When are we likely to find out?

Its nailed on he gets charged. News will come through around 5pm today and he will have until 6pm tomorrow to plead guilty.
He also does his far too often, along with throwing the ball down or whinging in referees faces as well. Ban would be for Sunderland, Chelsea FA Cup and Stoke. Thankfully he would be fine for Barca and back for the Lge Cup Final.

Can't disagree with that. It's one of the things that really irritate me about Yaya... there simply is no need for this petulant, nasty stuff.

When the so called 'new' system was announced on here. I mentioned this very scenario in that thread.
It gives the 'powers that be' an opportunity to let their favourites get away with bad offences of this nature & then punish us for a lesser offence.
If they choose to prove me right, we should not accept it. If the rules are to be applied fairly, they apply to everyone. This was not a 'serious foul play' incident, like some which Rooney, Suarez, Gerrard etc have got away with. It was a bit of a gesture, & a lot of playacting nothing more. Anyone in doubt of that, only needs to see the player jump up, annoyed, when questioned.
This incident should be ignored by the FA. If it isn't, then the ref should say it was a 'yellow' & nothing more.
If our player gets banned because of this, when others are let off for elbows in the face, over the ball tackles & deliberate stamping, then it is wrong & we should take legal action, because the application of the rule is wrong & deserves to be challenged.
Bad laws should be thrown out & replaced by good ones, not blindly adhered to

City need only show the kick-out Rooney got away with against Cardiff in Yaya's defence!

There are literally hundreds of violent incidents which have gone unpunished & scores each season. This season, we have seen lots of occasions where stuff has happened, nasty, vicious stuff, & on some occasions the FA have just said they won't bother with it, simple as that.
The media, have pointed out this incident. It's not a 'biggie' compared to others which have gone before. If the FA decide to make an example of Yaya, we shouldn't accept it. It should be changed at the end of the season anyway & either punish all incidents or none.
It's time the cunts got this stuff right rather than being allowed to make bad law & get away with it.

Id agree but Hamann and Match of the Day went out of there way to talk it up. I thought it only a yellow at worst but given the profile its got and our luck, Id guarantee he gets charged for it, as will Bellamy who's blatant elbow was far worse.

What about that horrendous tackle on Nasri.....no inquest on the Newcastle player.
I believe the Norwich player should be charged for his over the top rolling about
holding his back when....it was there was minimal contact with his foot.
This is just adding to the recent Mourinho / media conspiracy re - 'lucky' City getting
favorable reffing decisions going our way. And if the FA don't act, it will then lead to
outcrys from Maureen, fat Sam etc, etc. Pathetic.

I agree it's annoying when different rules are applied, but the easiest way to avoid that is for the player not to do the stupid stuff in the first place. 'But he did worse' won't stand up as a defence I'm afraid.

It's not a cae of 'he did worse', it's a case of 'he did worse & the FA CHOSE to let it go'.
Which club keeps getting 'done' after the event, even when the rules don't actualy allow for it ? How many times has the ref 'seen it' when Rooney etc do it & suddenly mysteriously not seen it when it's us, or even if he did see it, the FA decide that, on this occasion, it was so bad they'll fuck the rules off & do us anyway ?
It's happening every season. Enough is enough.

Rooney gets away with murder week after week. He was at it again yesterday screaming abuse at the referee and worse and sweet FA to coin a phrase done about it. van Wolfswinkel made a ridiculous meal of a tiny incident.
