I was listening to radio 5 they interviewed a fan called Alan Lawrence about the postponement, he is a season ticket holder travelling to every home match form Weymouth on the south coast after 8 hours in the car he approached the Etihad to hear the game was off. He will be back for Chelsea, Barcelona and Stoke. Fu** knows how much he spend on petrol but what a bloke. It would have been nice of the club would buy him a pie or something bigger to recognise this saga. As they read this apparently maybe someone will do this for him. Compare that to the rag glory hunters in Kensington, Ireland and Timbuktu.
What do you think?

Good guy. Everton got lots of good PR today after picking up that a fan from Malaysia had come over for his first ever game only for it to be called off after Goodison started collapsing. They saw his tweet apparently, tracked him down and took him to meet the manager and players.
I think it would really fit with City's values if they started to make some heroes of fans like Alan.

Was it true that at the Emirates last night the announcer broadcast to the stadium that sadly all trains to Manchester were now cancelled, all motorways were now blocked, and that even if they got back then the M60 ring road was shut! Would like to have heard his barely suppressed laughter!

I got out of bed at 6:30am, heard it was off and couldn't get back to sleep for 45minutes.
Who's going to compensate me?!
