I wish I could clone him

Ted's post in the "other games..." thread made me wonder what type of players you would like to clone back into existence? I mean sure, to clone another Messi or Christiano Ronaldo, Pele or even the real Ronaldo are obvious choices.... but... are there other types of players or even better, player types, that you miss nowadays?
I haven't followed football that long so I can't come up with a good answer but if I had to pick a player type, I wish you could bring back players who would stand outside the locker rooms smoking during half time.

I'll have 10 clones of George Best and a clone of Pat Jennings, just so my country can have a decent football team with a shout of qualifying for something. If I'm allowed to be fussy, can we modify them to not like alcohol?

Bergkamp - part of a 7 aside clone team of absolute rolls royce with cloned Hierro, Gullit, Hoddle, Cantona, and Zidane.
I'll go in goal.

Pubs would be busy otherwise...

What would the cloned Paul Lake, Shannon, Young etc bring to the game that we don't have now?
DHTP: I could be the coach if you want. I will wear a smashing tailor-made suit and look really troubled even when you guys score because I'm hard to please. I will drive you crazy with hard exercises and then when you're just about ready to kill me I'll bring out the six packs and we'll reminisce, sort of.

I haven't seen Lake play, was he that good? Read about him a lot, but never saw his skill.
Regarding the thread, i would clone Inzaghi just for those games where we can't score and the other team has the bus parked there, like Norwich or Stoke.

Joe Mercer, who knew a good player when he saw one, once described Neil Young as being "smooth as silk".
I'd take that for starters.

Was just about to post this. After reading some of the stories about him here and elsewhere in web I'm actually pretty gutted to not have seen him play in person :)

Bilky Meredith. Just to see how the really, really old players used to play as there is no footage at all. Scored well over 100 for us so must have been decent

Lake was a class act, could play anywhere, but it's not about the player he was, it's about the player he was about to become. In this team, next to Vinny, he would be the dream player we are searching the world for.

Some kind of 70's supergroup mash-up album?
