I'm hoping the early game is a hum-dinger and Everton do the double over Boring Maureen. One of the funniest stats mentioned this morning was this from the Beeb:
• Only Manchester United (6) have taken fewer points against the current top seven clubs than Everton (9).
Not because the Rags have the least points but the fact that they're now scraping the bottom of the barrel with the 'current top seven'. So much for the old Sky 4, we're really in the realms of stupidity now.
As for the Rags, this would usually be an easy win against a team such as Palace but in their current form I can actually see Palace pushing them for all 3 points.
That leaves Arsenal in todays games and I can't see anything other than a win for the Gunners, keeping us and Chelsea on our toes, and with Liverpool playing a very disorganised (for their standards) Swansea then I can only see a mauling for the Welsh boys.

Even at 36, Distin looks quicker and fitter then most. Better then any of our non Kompany centre backs!

Very true. Shame to think we could have easily had another 7 years or so out of him. Would have been perfect next to Kompany, even now.

Chelsea seem to be picking the pace up and Everton are defending them well. Barry, as usual, is having a good game. Still can't believe we let him go.
