As for Neggers, was he actually playing?

Bad miss , but at least he was there for the chance.

Exactly. Fucking shocking miss but people are 100% focused on the wrong issue here: didn't anybody tell Negredo he needs to wake up today and play some football?

I'm hoping Negredo is still suffering from the injury, as he's not played well since it happened.

As for Dkeko's miss, let's just say at least he was in position to miss it and ultimately it didn't matter.

The miss was not as bad as it looked.. it was worse. If he had not hit it off his left leg after he "shot" it, it would have gone wide for a goal kick.

The bigger problem today was Negredo not turning up.
Negredo was absolutely anonymous today. Barely touched the ball, didn't look interested and contributed nothing. Now I'm not suggesting we all slag off Negredo or get on his back but we shouldn't for Dzeko either, who the miss a side, played better and got more involved then Negredo.
As for the worst miss ever? No, how about Tevez against Sunderland? or Torres v Rags? equally shite misses.
yes it was a terrible miss, but these happen to players, even Messi and Ronaldo. It happens.

Why must our fans have a boo boy? Dzeko's scored a lot of goals for us this season and some very important goals down the years.

Dzeko missed a sitter and was subpar today.

Negredo however, a fan fave, has been anonymous for a month now and has hit the wall. He was an absolute non-event today and should have been given the hook at half-time.

We must seriously be considering playing 5 in midf next sunday adding Navas, Milner or Javi, and Aguero on his jack jones up top.

Terrible miss - i think it hit his standing leg even! But between him and Neggers today he was by far the better player - even managing to trap the ball and played some excellent passes. One particulary brilliant flick on from a Hart kick straight to Silva and git into position to receive it back and a decent shot from outside the box - Sadly Neggers did nowt for most of the game.

I heard a woman on GMR in the drive home who said he was the worst player EVER to wear a city shirt - again I do believe she must have been younger than 5! If its one thing we have had in abundance is shit players and there's a bus load that come before Dzeko (and today Neggers would have been a temporary stand in)

Dzekos miss was a real shocker.I'm not sure how he actually managed it.

Negredo has not looked nothing like himself since the shoulder injury.We need him back to his best and fast.

Ronnie Rosenthal used to credited with worst miss and Dzeko's didn't even come close to that - the problem is compounded though when Negredo doesn't play well and we miss Aguero as that combined makes Dzeko's miss seem more crucial than it turned out to be - it's almost as if he's suffering with confidence again?

Dunno if you noticed, but the Beast failed to score since he injured himself against WHU. Since that, he failed to win even a real contact against some opponents. His total approach was poor lately, but it has to do with the injury, i think he is not proper fit.

Like it or not, at the moment, Big Ed it is the most reliable forward we have. Sergio had a terrible season regarding his fitness, Negredo is not the same beast and what can we say about Cripplevic?

Dzeko cant pass to a City player, cant control the ball, is lazy and needs about 20 chances to score. He was truly awful today even by his own shit standards.

Dzeko was truly awful. Negredo anonymous. Thank God for Yaya.

Shame Negredo was even worse. At least Dzeko got involved. Negredo stood scratching his arse and hardly had a touch.
