Better late than never, as they say. I thought Yaya was immense and Dave worked very hard under such conditions. Vinnie also put a shift in and marshalled the back very well.

Dave for me, closely followed by Yaya and Dzeko

Dzeko shades it for pulling off that miss. It was a piece of skill I couldn't replicate with 100 chances.

Samir for me, wanted to be involved and was at the centre of everything we did good.

Really mate? I thought he was well off the pace and slowed down any attack we had (if we could slow it down anymore).

Where's Jovetic on the poll?
Silva for me, just ahead of Yaya. Best of a pretty bad bunch. Hope the week off improves us.

Considering he has been out for a while I thought he was excellent and particular in the second half were he was demanding the ball , he is enjoying his football and it shows.

Nasri for me. Positive and tried to move the ball swiftly at all times.

Fair one mate, I just thought it was one of those games where you are nearly there but just a little too soon.

Plummed for Nasri - really pit a hard shift in today, Silva also excellent and Yaya really came into play when he pushed up more.
Just think Nasri did everything apart from score, tracking back, hungry for the ball and really was integral in trying to break down Stokes back 10

Credit to Yaya, Merlin & Samir, but do you know who really impressed me was....... Garcia when he came on, I thought he was brilliant

Not many good performances today but Yaya probably edged it for me. Silva was busy and involved in a lot of good play but his refusal to shoot potentially cost us some goals.
Nasri was poor in my opinion - quiet by his standards this season. Vinnie was shite and played like a headless chicken, constantly giving away needless fouls. He was lucky not to be sent off after his early booking. No need to talk about Demichelis - everyone knows he's shite except the manager.

Forgot to mention him in my post, but I agree - Garcia played very well when he came down and we looked in much better shape following his introduction.

Yaya for me. Cometh the hour, cometh the tank. I also thought Silva and Nasri had good games.

Silva was really squeezed for space all game and still managed to get things moving in attack, not his most devastating, but against a 8-2-0 lineup it was always going to be tough.
Went for Yaya though, needed someone to step up and get us over the line and again, Yaya comes to the rescue.

Samir Nasri for me, with Yaya and Silva worthy of mention too.
