Pantilimon has played 4 times in the League Cup this season and has yet to concede.
Hart has played one (Leicester) and conceded one.

Having said that, I would still play Hart on Sunday. He is our future whilst Costel is moving on at the end of the season, so it is more important to keep Hart happy.
Also, I really want to win this cup so hope we play the strongest starting 11 possible.

We want to be able to recruit a goalkeeper that can actually compete with Hart. If he knows that we will always opt for Hart when it really matters, he'll see little incentive to come to us. Costel's good enough to play in the final.

Panti for me. He's a good keeper and deserves a shot at winning a trophy, on the pitch.

I thought what Mancini did was really shitty last year. Give Joe the F.A cup final. I'm confident we will be there.

Not going to be a popular decision but if I had the choice it would be Joe.Yes it's cruel on Pantillimon but I'm not convinced by him at all and it is a final.

I would want our best team out for the final and goalkeeping position is no exception.

Panti. I actually rate him more for the kind of football we play nowadays, anyway.

After last year he deserves this! Plus he's done alright when in called upon. We need to be motivated and work to get this first cup for Pellegrini in the bag. No turning up thinking we just go out there and get it. Sunderland have fuck all to lose and whilst they are in a relegation scrap they will go out to fight for this.

Pants, he's earned his spot in the team.

I do not think Hart was undeserving, I think Mancini just put the final nail in his coffin with his players on that day. Costel has been a professional this year, doing his job, not making comments, and if I recall, we have not lost a match with him playing this season in all competitions. Pants it is!

The reason he was dropped was because the week of the final he commented that he wanted to leave in order to get more games.

This does not excuse Mancini from keeping his word and you're right about losing the dressing room that day.

Disgusting what Mancini did to Panti last year...his word meant fuckall and I hope Pelli keeps faith with Panti.

I wouldn't bat an eyelid if we sold Hart tomorrow , he has been average AT BEST this season.

Joe is the better keeper, but Panti deserves it. So Panti for me.
