The atmosphere was very good yesterday. I was in block 548 which is top tier in line with the 6yd box. At one point in yesterdays game I said to my lad about the acoustics as we could see the whole section behind the goal chanting/singing something, but we couldn't hear a thing where we were? I though the top tier were in good voice yesterday and sounded loud, but I would hazard a guess that no-one on the bottom tier could hear us either?

There were times when we all sang in unison and it sounded excellent.

It seems to be largely the case in any multi-tier bowl shaped stadium. By the time the sound has travelled and the listener has worked out what's being sung, those who started the song have stopped.

Sounded pretty good on telly :)

When everyone sings together that ground is super loud.

I will never tire of going to Wembley.

Despite the stick it gets, Wembley is a cracking ground with a brilliant atmosphere at times.
I remember fondly the cup semi-final against Rags. Having 35000 blues celebrate, all packed into one end of the ground was one of my favorite ever moments supporting City. Even topped the winner against Stoke for me.

dont get me wrong, I love each and every occasion and always enjoy Wembley, it was just a little surreal that I could see people singing but could not hear them?

Just imagine how fantastic the stadium would be if they had built it somewhere you could get to and from without that last/first horrible bit through Brent. They could even have built it just outside London to keep the locals happy.

I chose not to go to any of the cup finals, as for me that semi final was THE day............the day the club arrived, and I honestly dont think winning a domestic cup final will ever beat that day for sheer magnitude. The atmosphere that day will be incredibly hard to beat and proves that Wembley is a magnificent ground when it's rocking, not even beaten by the QPR game (other than the last 10 seconds)

Maybe added to because the eastend of the stadium had a magnificent echo effect.

Loved the semi final. The final was of course great, but there was a feeling of nervousness or expectancy whereas the semi final was pure excitement.

Still remember the rags pinning us back in our own half for the first twenty minutes and thinking we were gonna get a hammering.
