Under 18's v Middlesboro

Not the best of performances today against what I thought was a poor Boro side but you can't really argue about a 4 nil win.We did have quite a few players missing today.2 full backs plus Smith Brown so in came Martin Samulsen,Cameron Humphries and Nathaniel Oseni and with Kean Bryan reverting to full back from his attacking midfield role.

After about 20 minutes I would have put money on a nil nil draw as neither side looked like creating a chance never mind scoring but score we did through a good back post header from Ambrose.Good move and a good cross from Bryan overlapping from his deep position.Intima scored the 2nd from a very good lay off by Boadu.Boro did have a couple of chances and one from a well worked free kick was harder to miss than score it seemed but miss it they did.Much of the danger on City's goal came from bad passes from our own players with Oseni being the worst culprit. He really should not be looking to play clever passes as he simply can't do it.

Two more goals in the 2nd half from Byrne.Well worked and a nice chip through which Byrne flicked past the keeeper. The last one came from great work from Barker as he wriggled free and roled an inviting ball across the box.It seemed nobody would get onto it but Intima, from the right wing, was on hand with a low left footer.

To be fair we had plenty more chances so 4 was almost a minimum but as I said Boro were rubbish.
