It's quite interesting that ITV allow such a tone to be set when we are playing. They must have research to suggest that viewers would prefer to see us get beat than actually represent the Prem in the CL. No way can commentators be left to say what they want.

We all know that most media outlets are all geared around the Rag armchair supporter and it's now evident that they would rather cater for the higher echelon foreign team as well.

Didn't Townsend say 'They've just got to get through to half-time and then formulate a plan to win it'? I thought the plan was that you used the full 90 to win it, especially when you need at least 3 goals to get anything out of it.
