Some are saying it's three game ban and some are saying it's just one because it wasn't violent conduct? Which is it then? This is killing me not to know for sure! #confused.com

It's one game
Violent conduct, dangerous play, dissent = 3 game minimum
2 yellows, deny scoring chance = 1 game

It might be 2 games, because the red was direct. If i recall, there are two games for red and one for two yellow. Three game ban minimum is just for violent conduct.
PS: From twatter: The ban will only be increased if referee Lee Mason deems Kompany to be guilty of violent conduct - which he wasn't, unless you count him booting the tunnel wall at the KC Stadium as he made his exit.

Twitter is on overdrive with people saying it's three. Keep telling them it's one. Idiots keep telling me I'm wrong. Must be because I'm a girl.

From the FA site...
2 yellow cards - 1 match
Denying obvious goal scoring opportunity - 1 match
Offensive/insulting/abusive language or gestures - 2 matches
Serious foul play/violent conduct/spitting at an opponent or any other person - 3 matches

They are talking about a gesture he made on the way off the pitch and kicking the tunnel wall.
The FA will make sure he is out for the derby at a very minimum.

Unfortunately when they want the race to be tight, they will target our players in the run in.
We've seen this before.
If he's out for three we're fucked.

Well would be one of the most ridiculous things in football, ever, if that happened

Does his previous red count against him? Should it be two because of this?

Mourinho, Wenger & Brendan Rogers, will all probably get together & request it during the week & if they do, it will happen.
Like when they asked the refs to stop occasionally giving us penalties etc & we have barely had an even break since.

I think some of the press are trying to make an issue of Vincent kicking the changing room door too as if that would be worthy of a longer ban.But still no mention of the leg break tackle on Silva.

Two Games
The FA will want Stevie Starfish and his merry bunch of the best footballers on the planet to duly reclaim their former glory.

Despite the best efforts of the media it's a one match ban aint it?
When he walked off my son was thought he heard Kompany say "three matches for that?" and that's when he held three fingers out!
Clowns in the written and broadcast media have been baying for blood.
They were even saying it wouldve been a longer ban if he wasn't a City player.
