Free talks & plays with MCFC interest - derby week 22-30/03

I thought I'd post this because I know a few Blues will be interested. There are a lot of great sporting talks, plays & filmshows taking place next week - Manchester Derby Week - in Manchester. Most of them are part of the Manchester Histories Festival which I have been involved with for a few years.
Here's a summary. Many are free (but not all) & I'm involved with a few of them (the ones in bold!):

Saturday 30th at 2pm – Manchester Football Memories (David Meek & Colin Shindler) at National Football Museum. Details and tickets: http://www.manchesterhistoriesfestival. ... llmemories
I'd encourage City fans to go to Bill Cronshaw's Maine Road play - he did the play about Bert Trautmann and is a great Blue who deserves some support for his efforts here. His play is bound to bring back memories of Maine Road and it follows a session I'm speaking at on Sport and Lesiure in Manchester and is on in the same room. So come early for the 11.00 talk and stay on for Bill's play - you'll need to get tickets for them both of course.
All events are ticketed but many are free.
Hope there are some Blues interested. Cheers.
