There is loads of chat from the gooners , but it all so depressing. I have checked the game threads on three different boards, and I want to kill myself now! Ive always thought that the fantastic thing about City fans is their sense of humour, even in the darkest hours. They seriously need something at The Emirates. Having said that there is some fun stuff here to enjoy.
COME ON CITY !!

Team Selection

--------------Szczesny
Sagna-Mertesacker-Vermaelen-Gibbs
----------Flamini-Rosicky
Gnabry---------Cazorla-----Chamberlain
---------------Bendtner

My Favourite

Bend over lads, this isn't going to be pretty. Close your eyes and think of the Invincibles

And the rest...

For my part, if we loose, we loose. There's no shame in loosing to City. All I ask is to be spared another humiliation, I can't handle more of them

Same tactic as usual. This is going to be ugly.

Arsenal 0 City 5

Our side looked absolutely shattered yesterday. I can't imagine we'll be able to put the pieces back together for this match unfortunately with no injured players returning.

Going with 1-3 to City.

Not looking forward to this at all, sad times.

Expecting a loss, anything else would be a nice surprise
At least if we lose it helps Pellegrini against Mourinho.

We shouldn't be expecting to get anything from these games anyway, I don't think.

I just don't see our midfield being able to deal with these, Arteta and Flamini are average players who the likes of Toure and Fernandinho should be walking over, can see a 2-1 loss.

Pack the midfield maybe..... Kallstrom, Arteta and Flamini all in the middle with Cazorla and Rosicky wide and Giroud up front?

Because it's at home I think we might scrape a draw if we approach the game with the right attitude... unlikely though.

City needs the points to catch up to Chelsea. And they have a far superior and healthier squad. I'd like to see us park the bus and try and nick a goal at the other end. But when was the last time you see Wenger's team doing that? I am just hoping for a respectable scoreline, but expecting the worst.

I **** hate this.

I hope we will show some pride after the poor results last week, we need to keep on winning games because Everton is catching us.

I hope Wenger adopts the practical tactics that saw us take a point off Chelsea and United at the Emirates. I cannot see anything other than us losing this one but it is about it being respectable and not destroying our own confidence

Draw I think. I think we'll give everything and get something. It's a shame we let that last minute equalizer in against the swans, but we need to pick ourselves up and keep going. We can do this, COME ON THE ARSENAL!

Yea, unlikely to see another 5 goal slaughter really. This game has cagey arsenal written all over it. Wenger can be defensive when he wants to, hell play all of our cms if we have to, cazorla isn't providing anything anyway. It's city who need the points, arsenal with confidence shattered, will be forced to shut up shop, pull the lines back, get tight, and soak up pressure. Don't care if it's at home, we can't go charging damn panzers with our spears ffs. More like throw fire bottles from our trenches - read: sit back and counter.
If we dominate the midfield, they will struggle to create...so, I agree with law90026 on the need to flood the midfield. I dont see any other way of playing them effectively.

I've never been more pessimistic before a game than this...never thought we stood less of a chance...not since I can remember
Loss is inevitable. Score line isn't. Keep it down to single figures and it's a success

why f***ing bother, they don't bother to turn up even in the small games now nevermind the big ones.

They're about to get torn a new one. As much as I would love to see Arsenal get a result here, I just can't see anything other than at least a 3 goal City win. City is in great form while we're playing like a pub team at the moment

What I wouldnt give for a player like Silva or Yaya Toure. It's unfair that City have both!!

Sergio Aguero is out and David Silva most likely is, too. Fear not, lads: if we lose, it will only be by single digits
This could be a cricket score if city are in the mood. Dont think there is even a chance we will get a draw.

Must win. 3-0 Kallstrom hattrick.

If we play like we have done this month we'll be taken apart, but because it's at home I'll optimistically say it will only be a 0-2 defeat

anything less then a 4 goal defeat can be counted as a moral victory

As things are right now we really should be twatted out of sight, 0 - 4 however football works in mysterious ways. Being the team to sit back and defend may actually benefit us here. I can see us nicking this 1 or 2 nil.

Absolute Must Win this. 2-1. Kim Kardashian, Kompany OG - Silva.

City are better than Chelsea and Liverpool and will know how fragile we can be in the big games. The way they started the Man ure game was scary and i dont think we have the players, tactics, organisation or confidence to get anything from this game.

2-8

I dont think we have any option but to start with the same team as V Swansea. Maybe Kalstroom for Arteta, Dont even suggest Sonogo for this game. Giroud is our best front man and should and will start. Despite our drubbings by liverpool, cheslea and city away we are unbeaten against the top teams at home. Saying that i think City will win but it will be closer than most predict. 2-0 or 3-1 maybe.

The last thing we need is another bad defeat, no one will beneift from it. The damage has been done and another beating will further dent our ebbing confidence and morale. We have a cup semi coming up and a real fight for 4th so at the very worse a defeat and minimal defeat. Anyone that feels a big defeat will help are deluded. We are getting bashed by the press and rival fans. PLease no, not another stuffing!

Wow! They are extremely negative. Pretty much across the board they're expecting to be hammered.

Let's hope we step up and deliver what they're expecting!

Arsenal at the Emirates is not to be underestimated. They have a horrible injury crisis at the moment but they could be like a wounded animal and just look to hammer us and hope something comes loose. Hopefully they'll be as idiotic as the scum and target Zabs again, man's built out of granite.

We've won 4 out of our last 37 visits. Lets not get ahead of ourselves

Doom and gloom at the Emirates though isn't it. Considering they are fourth and in cup Semi they are a miserable lot. Still, as Piers Morgan is one their more vocal cheerleaders, it's perhaps to be expected

I fear a goaless draw here - wenger often does this against the talented squad and somehow makes it look like the other team was at fault for it

It's a tough game if we are below par.

Same as the rags game.

Their fans seem rather disillusioned at the moment.

They do seem rather down, don't they. Oh how things have changed since the days we would be writing this off even before a ball was kicked. Since the season of the takeover we've only lost at their once, won once and drawn twice. Not bad for a team who went how long without a win and usually ended being mauled for so many years.

Think the way we start is crucial, again. Get one up in the first 15 and the fans and team will start to panic about another heavy defeat. Let them get into it and it'll be a difficult afternoon for us.
