Lesson for us early doors, Harsh but From East level 2 it was a mess from the minute we lost the ball, Kolarov and Hart and Ferny who during the WC and Saturday has been a shadow of the player we saw, As for Hart. Oh dear legs open and Willy is in...

Gareth Barry would have just knocked the bloke over on the edge of their box, yelow card, attack over.

so you'd rather Fernandinho have been sent off and us play with 10?

You don't get sent off for knocking out a player near his own box.

Kolarov. He was supposed to be taking care of that job but just let the bloke run off. Had loads of opportunity to stop him.

Not sure that's clear but so long as you're over it, that's okay. I'm still not over it, but given time, I think I will recover.

I was talking about Kolarov. He was right next to the bloke for ages & he had cover behind him.

You mentioned Fernandinho getting sent off.

Kolarov should have taken one for the team. Still doubt we would have scored, but we would have been much less likely to lose.

I love Kolarov, looks a double-hard bastard, but that girly run pretending to chase the fucker down was just too much .... too much.

On the bench again tonight. I think he really does need to start against Wednesday. He needs game time and if not then when. If he only plays 60 minutes so be it.

FFS the wednesday match doesn't take place until 24 sept! he's already been training with the club for weeks. trial by fire perhaps, but I want to see him start against the arse and/or chelsea.

demi has been shaky early doors. but even on his best day, he struggles against players with pace like sanchez and walcott (if fit?).

we can find fault in everyone if we look hard enough.
at the moment i would stick with martin for the arse, its too much of a risk we dont need to take.
if were 2-0 up then throw mangala in as third centre back for last 10-15 mins.

Again.

On topic - looking forward to seeing this guy get going. Possibly because he's the only one I've yet to see.

Looking at our next 4 games: Arsenal (a) Bayern Munich (a) Chelsea (h) and Tottenham (a) I'd be surprised if the Count plays Mangala in any of those games. He has a tried and trusted combination in Kompany and Demichellis that should see us through them. And if it works out (i.e., if we don't lose and are only 3 points off Chelsea in the league at most) then the case for dropping Demichellis will be difficult to make.Tough call for the Count.
