Hats off to the Count.

Throws him in vs the supposed champions & he is immaculate. Now he knows he can play vs any other team. I wouldn't have taken the gamble but he backed his judgement & now we have a major force next to Vinny & we have PACE.

Fernando in front of those two !

His speed at getting back is great, strong in the air, commanding. Really excellent confidant debut.

He seems pure class, built like a bull. Looking forward to see him partner up with Vinnie.

Whatever I saw against Sevillia when playing for Porto last season was certainly not evident today. As I said I trust our scouting team implicitly

What you saw prior couldve also been influenced by the manager's tactics and/or the players surrounding him

I thought he looked good tidy well organised and does not panic. A great asset for the club what a defense we have and midfield and up front. I'm feeling more confident now.,we've been through some tough games early on most top four teams haven't.
Come on city.

People saying it's a bit early to make a decision about this guy. Jesus, he was immaculate. Can people imagine what this guy will become in this league?

I couldn't believe that when I saw it. Top drawer.

100% aerial duels won
91% pass accuracy
4 tackles won
4 clearances
1 key pass

I'd never seen him play before so that was bloody impressive. Like many, I was sceptical about him debuting in such a game but I needn't have worried. Looks like he'll compliment Vinny perfectly and has a bit of pace about him too.

Could it be that they've actually learned from previous mistakes and have made Kompany and Mangler practice together during training so that they'll have established a bit of a partnership before the Mangler was up for his debut? I like to think so. I hope so. That would fill me with even more confidence about our club.

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

Nastasic got thrown in at a very deep end and looked pretty good...

Mangala was very impressive though and I like the way he played on the front foot - he was making some tackles in the centre circle. Wish he'd played against Stoke

this could be a better player then our Komp's from what i saw .
You can't be a real country unless you have a beer and an airline. It helps if you have some kind of a football team, or some nuclear weapons, but at the very least you need a beer.

If he played for our neighbours he would already be better than Beckenbauer.
