This Weeks Games

Postby Beefymcfc » Sat Apr 12, 2014 9:26 am

There's a lot going on this weekend with the league and FA Cup and we may just see some shock results/changes in the league. Today we see a bottom of the table clash where Fulham could gain serious points on Norwich but the real interesting game is the Toffees away to the BlackCats where a win for Everton would put them above Arsenal with the same games played. The Arse then have a chance to pull it back on Tuesday but then Everton could recipricate on Wednesday. Could be an interesting time watching Wenger in the dug-outs.

Apart from the above, another interesting one has to be the Chavs away to the Swans. Swansea haven't been great this season and are flirting with relegation but they've put up a decent fight of late. Their last 3 games have been W1, D1 and L1, beating Norwich, drawing with the Arse away and just falling short in a 3-2 away defeat to Everton. Much better form from the Welsh boys and maybe an indicator of things starting to turn for them. I do hope so.

Anyway, quite a few games and with the FA Cup semi-finals there's plenty for all to see.

Tight at the bottom. Sunderland are fucked and we could be the ones to put final nail in coffin. Remember we did that to them in 92

Wba must be gutted. 3-3 in last two games when leading 3-1 into stoppage time last week and 3-0 up after half an hour today. Should they go down its games lime these which haunt the club

Palace virtually safe; even Fulham showing fight.

It's that stage if the season where bottom teams start pulling off unexpected results, all good fun.

Half time 0-0 Wigan/Arse game ... C'mon Wigan hold tight and then nick a 1-0 win ...oh, and Arsenal already down to 5th, 2 pts behind as Everton won their game.

based on past results, dont hold your breath. theyll be lucky to not concede 7.
we should just be hoping that Liverpool dont overtake our GD

Wigan haven't yet shown anything like the attacking level they occasionally showed v City. When they have got close to getting it together, they have looked very dangerous.

If they can manage to continue scrawping along without conceding the first goal, they will get a chance at some point.

You can't be a real country unless you have a beer and an airline. It helps if you have some kind of a football team, or some nuclear weapons, but at the very least you need a beer.
