Upgrade both this summer?

Discuss. You know you want to.

There are no real upgrades to Kompany. Unfortunately, errors have crept into his game and he needs to stop being a nice guy and a media darling and focus on his football.

Hart? Definitely. Although he made a great save, his decision making is terrible.

Neither. Both made mistakes today but uncharacteristic ones. Vinny needs a settled partner.

No. Upgrade Hart's deputy and Kompany's partner.

Hart is still a very good keeper, yes he can be upgraded but that would take a massive chunk out if the transfer budget and I think we have other areas to upgrade first.

Upgrade on Vinny? Is it possible? Poor mistake today but really?

There are no central defenders playing football, anywhere, who can be relied upon.

We have had two of the best in VK & Lescott but both will drop bollocks, just as all the others do.

Getting a non English keeper would unbalance the squad & may not actually be better; again few are.

Be careful you will have Ted shaking his metaphorical walking stick at you.

I agree by the way.

did you ever play football?????

Both are great and very important for city.

This thread is a joke. I don't know why to discuss about single players after a lost game. You should support these guys for the next games

No I will just discuss it, as I just have, rather than implying Hart would let in goals for his England 'buddies' like you did, you utter cunt.

You know throwing insults about says more about your lack of intellect ?,although given your advanced years it could be the early onset of dementia.

I think as a keeper he is dog shit, not just dog shit, but DOG SHIT.If Stevie G had pinged one at his best mate today i would not have been surprised if it had squirmed in.I thought he was to blame for the 1st,could have done better with the second.Learned fuck all and still ran out again to face another England regular Sturridge with his legs wider than a hooker..Like i said i don't give a fuck he is English he is shit and needs replacing.

The insult was deserved & has nothing to do with age or lack of intellect, just a response to your post where you suggested Joe Hart would deliberately let in goals for his English mates.

It was an absolute disgrace & several people agree with my response to it.

You claimed that Joe would intentionally let goals in for Liverpool players on the basis that they were English and so is he. There was no misunderstanding there, and whether you deserve the insults is not for me to decide but I certainly won't defend you with your current stance and I'm not sure many others would.

Do you think Joe would intentionally throw a game for his 'England pals'? Here's your chance to backtrack.

Kompany needs to sit down and watch this game again and again. He was dog shit.

Martin Demichelis was fantastic and made vinny look like a pub player.

Demi held it together for us today, an outstanding performance i'd say, in general our defence bricked it every time they came forward and if they'd been a bit more clinical in front of goal they would have been out of sight by half time.
Silva was unbelievable second half and I firmly believe we should have won, its not over yet, chelsea will get something, but we have to win all our games now and play for 90 mind ffs !!!!

Ponytail was immense. Always reading things right. Classy on the ball. What a match for him. Garcia also I though was decent. Company one of his poorest efforts I can recall outside of some rash reds he's earned though the years. Love Vinnie but Jesus Christ. The captain picked a fucked up match to fuck up everything he could.

What Hart was doing for the first goal I couldn't tell but if you are coming for the ball tell your captain don't shadow him step for step giving some little shit a goal. My sons U9 team does that...I expect more from both of them.

Goalkeeping isn't just shotstopping tho is it?

It was a moronic statement. I'm pretty sure no one other than him could believe such a thing. Anyway...its not worthy of a conversation in a realistic sense.

Most games we could play with a fly keeper so good are we,even with Joe shocking distribution.Occasionally we have very high profile games where our keeper is required to do a little bit more for us Joe saves his appalling goal keeping for the most important City games Bayern home,Chelsea away,Liverpool and many others.I am not going to lie there was a game against the RAGS at the Etihad where they scored 4 goals from just 4 shots on target,1 was disallowed where i was very suspicious only for the fact that i thought a keeper could not possibly be that shit to concede 4 from 4 shots in a game we dominated,i thought at the time he could have been making a point to Mancini.I also heard rumors as we all did that he deliberately conceded in the Cup Final against Wigan to make sure Roberto got the bullet.I suppose i am questioning his integrity based on his shit keeping in important games.Him being a boyhood RAG fan dosent help.

It was pretty hopeless but there were a lot of things wrong especially first half & usually reliable players were all over the shop. Fernandinho was garbage & looked like he's runnning on half power, the defence had no protection at all. The pass which came to Sterling was due to the whole team being in a fucking state really.

Don't think Hart was especially more useless than the rest during that period.
