Sorry Manuel Not Good Enough

Postby failsworthblue » Sun Apr 13, 2014 6:02 pm

A really nice guy and a good manager.

But this squad is too good to only win the CC.

Does not learn!

Early season against Villa and Sunderland ,Munich and Barca at home in the chumps and the last three games were Navas has been absolulety gash and he has built the midfield around him.

Appreciate where you are coming from but I whole heartedly disagree. A new manager always has to deal with players disillusioned with the previous manager. And we had a few. Add in that he is new to the country, culture and style of football, has been briefed on a specific way the way wants the club to perform, he has done well for me. Yes, he has made errors, notably in first couple of months and in Europe, but he and his backroom team will learn. You can bet your ass we won't lose four of the first six away games next year.

If we had got the deciding goal instead of that lot we'd be having a wank fest on him now.

That is fucking ridiculous mate. Seriously, it's his first season in england with 3 new first team players joining at the same time.

We are in the thick of a title race with 6 games to go and another trophy in the cabinet.

And you'd move him on?!!

On the contrary mate he's shown he does learn, particularly in the reverse fixtures against Bayern and Barca.

The majority of our dropped points in the league are from individual errors, there's no legislating for that from a managerial point of view.

He's also been very unlucky with injuries; early on with centre backs and later on with forwards. Plus we could still win the title! Biggest mistake not buying a top class centre back and trying to go for the quadruple. It's left our players fatigued. Next season give the kids a go at the League Cup and even the home ties in the FA Cup against lesser opposition. We've used fewer players than our rivals and some of them look a bit burnt out. Biggest disappointment just failing to top our group in the CL which in turn gave us Barcelona than say Olympiakos.

Far too early for this type of nonsense. If we were in the Rag's position, I might just think you had a point, but no, today, he is doing really well for us. As some have already mentioned, new country, new league, new team - give him a break.

In my opinion he have done enough to earn his place for next year.

Even thought the league is not in our hands anymore, we are not that far off; We might still win it.

I love the Count. But he was naïve today playing Navas. Southampton showed he wouldn't get a kick against a sophisticated midfield. He should have asked Kiddo what was required in a game like this and would have got the answer "Jimmie". For me the Counts biggest failing this season has been to scorn Milner's qualities. But in the end he trusts his creative players which is the right way to go about it in my view.

What has Barca won this season? And have they awarded the trophy to Liverpool now?

Rubbish.
First season and inherited a bit of a mess, to be fair Mancini didn't exactly leave a sea of harmony behind him.
We in a much better place that this time last year and the team will get better when he has had this season under the belt.
