Why drop Demich?

Be interesting to see what Pellegrini does now Aguero is fit, does he stick with Silva in the middle or does he shunt him back wide to accommodate two strikers? I hope it's the former.

LOL ... that's what happens when you copy and paste and old post and try to edit on phone ...

Lescott in for Komos not Demi (if Komps feeling that knock/injury from training and mental scars from last game maybe) ... plus Milner alongside Garcia and Fredy if play one up top ...

I think Sergio will start in the bench again but come on sooner this time, that has been Manuel's MO in the past.

id prefer to see:

Hart
Zaba VK Lescott Kolarov
Fern Milner
Silva Aguero Nasri
Negredo

id like to have Micah play to give poor Zaba a rest, hes played virtually every game, but that fucker Micah is never fit

Yes I love the way Lescott looks like a rabbit in the headlights just before giving the ball to Messi on the half way line. Cant believe what I'm reading sometimes. Barring injuries the team should/will be:

Hart
Zaba Komps Demichelis Kolarov
Nasri Silva Ferdy Garcia Milner/Navas (Milner for me this time)
Aguero

Of course he just might leave out the Navas/Milner option and put in Dzeko, just to give us something to worry about.

Does Messi play for Sunderland?

Wouldn't be upset if that eleven strolled onto the pitch Wednesday. Possible exception of Jovetic for Garcia if fit

I'm relieved to see this thread has appeared. It's a chance for us to put the strange and inequitable events of Sunday behind us. A chance to move on from that visit by Dick Turpin.
If our battle weary troops can get through tomorrow and next Monday then I believe we still have a good chance of regaining our crown.
I'm taking tomorrow afternoon off to have a couple of beers pre game and am looking forward to it.

I think it will be Jovetic instead of Milner (& Silva on the wing) but apart from that you have it spot on

Martin Atkinson is definitely a homer. The right ref at the right time, you'd think these things were planned or something.

Mighty Blues 4 v 0 Sunderland.

Is there any news on a Jovetic. It was odd he was nt on the bench if he is fit?

Check out CityView on OS, apparently he scored a screamer in training today (I haven't seen it yet, but that's how city's official tweets called it) ...

Start negredo and aguero upfront. Let them get a game together at home and maybe a bit of the old pairing back before the run in.

If by some miracle they manage to pick up somewhere near they left off it will take the pressure off the midfield without yaya.

We need a good performance to show a statement of intent that we won't give up.

That would make sense from an injury management perspective. Ease him back into the action.
