Slow play and gutless performance still, so I think its clear to see that its the players kolorov, garcia, hart , milner, nasri, clichy are all guless bottlers that wouldnt even run through a paper wall, we might aswell of kept mancini as no manager is going to change their attitudes

All of those players you named were signed by Mancini except Hart. If he couldn't get his own signings going, then who can?

I just wonder if this group of players has reached a crossroads. Its like they came together to win the league and that has been accomplished. Is the "project" still there despite our failure at CL level? I dont think it is. I am not advocating ripping the team apart but some need to move on. Nasri, Kolorov and Hart spring to mind. Sunderland ran their arses off today. I wonder also if Manuel has achieved what ultimately he came here for - to bring harmony. Is the man to take us onto the next level or is it too early to promote Vieira. I dont know but our expensive squad is just not good enough.

I'm confused about the idea that Kolarov is a major reason for this. He is an asset in attack but only when there are plenty of willing runners in front that open up space. That didn't happen today, and you will rarely see him beat a man. Except when he beat 3 in the penalty area and almost made a goal.
As for Javi, as mentioned in the other thread, I thought he did well today.

That's the enduring problem of starting off as a mid table side five or six years ago. We've had to bring in players the very top sides either didn't want or weren't interested in. We don't have a team of the standard of Barca, Real or Bayern, we have a team of second tier and third tier world players interspersed with a few drops of the genuinely highest quality. It's why Silva and Aguero are in the same team as also rans like Navas, Nasri, Demichelis and Milner.

They were fucking shit, arrogant bunch of wankers. What excuse is there for a draw against a team at the bottom of the table when we're pushing for the title. Cunts, that's the excuse, they're a bunch of gutless cunts. Fuck me it's hard being a City fan. Jusy want the players and manager to show real passion and fight, instead we get a bunch of bottlers, useless fucking cunts. CTID

Yeah the same MDM that is head and shoulders our best defender now.Funny how MDM did'nt play under Mancini but most of the other's did so in essence was player revolt the real reason we lost the cup final? And is it the same reason we fucked up this season league wise?

Well, everyone has a run of good games eventually. Garcia was our best DCM for a short while, and now look at him. Crap again.
I wouldn't say there's a revolt, just a lack of desire, a lack of quality and a paper thin squad. Take Silva out, and Yaya's bursts of brilliance and we seem to have nothing to offer. Not even sweat. When our best four or five players (Kompany, Yaya, Silva and Aguero) are injured, carrying an injury or out of form we resemble a mid-table side. Why should they have to babysit everyone else? If we're not careful our best players will want to leave because they are being forced to play when clearly unfit.

The similarity between Mancini & tonight, imo, is that last season we played Wigan at home & were dogshit & I figured he was uselsess tactically & close to losing his influence on the team, & thus getting fired. Tonoght, Pellegrini seemed pathetic tactically & imo, like Mancini last season, is close to the exit door.
The bosses will need to see some powerful performances in the next 5 games imo. Otherwise they will kick him out. It's not about sacking him if we miss the title, it's about whether he will have the neccessary influence to get the team back on track for next season.
If we finish with a whimper, like last year, he will be gone.

Look mancini was too much and his in your face approach was never going to fly long term.
But this style allowed for excuses to be made that can no longer be made under pellegrini. Yes the injuries hurt us and our manager was adapting to a new nation and league. Some changes will be made and some players need to take a good, honest look at themselves with the all too frequent inconsistent effort we saw as the season wore on if they want to be seen as a top club in europe.

No. Think he will be given until Xmas at least. Do agree there needs to be a decent show in last 5 games though. One terrible game tonight is not indicative of the season or even the last few months. Lest we forget, had Silva been an inch or two taller, we may have left Anfield with three points rather than none. Suspect performance tonight was hangover from that and the boys will resume business next Monday v WBA. Another poor show and there will be one or two players facing exit mind

We look very unmotivated. Which doesn't auger particularly well when we have City hating Puilis's Palace coming up soon and they have just won at Everton. And we have Everton, too, of course.

We gained a point last night when, truth be told we were the second best team on the night.
That point might still be useful.
As for the references to Roberto Mancini, pathetic.

I said it last season I say it again, nice is fine to a point, Rodgers and Jose have this season been hard in managing the likes of Sterling or berating the team in public. This bunch of soft twats are easy to get at and dot deal with any pressure . Mancini was not nice, winners tend not to be . Lost the dressing room, my arse they are lacking, and Mancini saw right through some of them.

The problem never went away .
To many lazy arse performers in our side. Mancini rightly picked up on it, the dressing room mafia made sure he got the bullet.
Really we should have fucked off all the none performing shit stirrers but we didn't.
We chose to go all holistic. The thinking was kid gloves, to hard stick would do the trick in the dressing room.
Well guess what, it hasn't worked.
There has been a consistent pattern for 3 seasons now. The players start of reasonably well, usually perform in the bigger games. But cant be arsed putting a shift in at the non entity's in the Premier League. We have a keeper who has been dropping bollock after bollock, after bollock, for 3 seasons. We have the same glaring defensive issues. We are not shit, we are a fairly decent side carrying too many passengers week in week out. We have a nucleus of decent performers who put a shift if for us Silva,Aguero,Kompany,Zabbaletta,Ya Ya,The rest wont be missed. We nearly fucked up our title winning season with complacency.
This current side will be remembered as under achievers. They had the potential to be so much better.
Time for transition, good clear out off all the dead wood. And we have a lot off that. Beyond our first 11 we don't have much, that needs to change.

I look forward to Khaldoons end of season interview. You usually get a flavour of what the board are thinking and there is very little spin.

Similar to arsenal in a lot of ways, great to watch but to much in the comfort zone, we lack 4 grit and a Nasty side. Winners can do it anyway you want it, we have a soft streak Scousers should not be winning this league, and Chelsea have had 12 months to get things sorted out, another wasted league campaign for me, this could have been 3 titles.
