After being a fan for over 30 years of "typical City", the poor relation or that other club from Manchester im finding it a very odd indeed. 2 seasons ago a few fans from other clubs either wanted us to win just to stop the scum and some hated the idea of us buying the league. Well this season even the scum fans I know are praying we win it as are most other fans I now if only to stop the bindippers, ive never know us to gain so many nuturals backing us like this and it makes me feel a little odd to tell the truth. Its as is they are hated more than united ever were and its a shock to the system, I always thought that united were the stand out club for the nutural to hate so badly.

People are just reacting against media propaganda. Virtually every tv analyst is an ex-Liverpool player, and their words are taken as gospel. Lawrenson was sitting there before the Chelsea game saying "Liverpool just bleurr teams away, they'll bleurr Chelsea away", and everyone nods sagely. Robbie Savage, although he has no Liverpool connections, is even worse. Last night, Atletico Madrid achieved something no-one could've imagined a couple of years ago, yet Savage's comments were all about Liverpool...

"Maybe Atletico will be the choice of the neutral, just like in the Premier League, the choice of the neutral is... LIVERPOOL".

Even worse, "I think the closest English equivalent to Atletico Madrid is..." and I thought he was going to say Everton, but no... "LIVERPOOL". Fuck off! Peddling the lie that Liverpool are some shoestring outfit put together like Moneyball, brought to the fore by good coaching.... So the matchday squad v Chelsea having had £140million spent in transfer fees is a figment of our imagination is it?

Real fans can see through it... Liverpool are just as arrogant, self-satisfied and smug as MUFC. We found that out every time Suarez got into trouble. People don't like them, but the constant media love-in makes it much much worse, into hatred.

For me - the worst thing of all the Liverpool spin is the lie that they haven't bought their team
Spending huge amounts of cash on dross but ending up with a great team at a reasonable price by pure luck isn't something that should be praised

This annoys me the too. They are in a worse state than us with regards to FFP. In regards to transfer fee's they started the season as he 3rd highest spenders in the history of the premier league.

Savage says he was a Liverpool fan as a kid, so it explains his current love in. Think we upset him when we sacked his mate, Mancini (not sure Mancini thought of Savage as a mate). Savage's son is a City fan (seen him in a kit), so hopefully he'll be giving his dad loads after next Sunday.

As for Lawrenson, I saw him on MOTD3 before the Chelsea game. You'd have thought Liverpool were playing a Martian 11 for the good of the human race, the discussion was so biased. Even if we had no interest in the title race, I'd have wanted a Chelsea win, just to shut the nonsense up for a while.
