Be Aware

There'll be many on here who went through the tension of the last time we won the title, some at the game and some through various channels or streams. All I will say is that Sunday will be exactly the same. You'll go through every emotion that you've ever experienced and have an hangover from hell to see you through.

All's I'm saying is be prepared, wherever you are, it's gonna be a humdinger.

Was it that bad for you or do you think you can get through it?

Thats bollocks mate. Sky said we'd never see anything like that again. Who am I gonna believe, some huge media corporation or a nutter off the interweb?

;)

i still remember. i was so pissed going down 2-1 to QPR. i turned the television off and went in the back of my house to do something else. by sheer luck i turned on the TV in the back to have it on in the background. when Dzeko leveled at 2-2 i couldnt believe it, and then Aguero won it and it went from anger and depression to pure elation.

ive almost had a stroke a few times during the last 2 games. i dont know if ill be able to handle it

At present I am looking forward to Sunday but thats probably because last night's performance is fresh. It was a patient professional performance. By tomorrow I will have forgotten all about it and will be a gibbering wreck. This is a better position to be in than 2 years ago. Also hoping that Newcastle are sufficiently pissed off by Rodgers comments last week - regards being good for an 8-0 defeat - to put in a shift. It would nice to win the league by 5 points just to ram the message home.

That was so disrespectful by Rodgers. What a jumped up twat he is, talking as if he's Alex fucking Ferguson & has been fighting for titles & trophies all his life.

I'm really looking forward to Sunday's game. I wasn't nervous last night, just excited & feel the same about this one. It's great to be in this position & I'm determined to enjoy it.

It's funny you should mention that Ted because I've felt the same all season long that Rodgers is sounding more and more like Bacon Face everyday.

I've got the difibrillator charged for Sunday and the missus has taken a crash course on how to use it.

I was just thinking I am going to try and enjoy Sunday, as the QR game had me drained by 9pm.

I went through the QPR experience during the Everton match and switched off the TV after they scored their 2nd. I feel more confident with the WH match which is at home and also after last night's 2nd half performance.
Having said that, I might not even watch that match and hide in a little hole until it's all over !!

Re QPR. I felt exactly the same when Edin got the equaliser that I did when Super Kevin Horlock got one back against Gillingham. Both goals in the dying minuted. Both times I just recall thinking why we couldn't have done it earlier. It was like rubbing salt in the wound. You didn't want to get excited because you didn't want to be even more disappointed than you already were.

I always expect City to do it the hard way, so with that in mind, I will be drunk in The Victoria in Surbiton for this one ... Still terrified btw !

He reminds me of Docherty at Stretford, as does his team.

They would come out like they were on drugs and try to win it in the first 20 minutes. Docherty was like a fairground barker, coming out with all sorts of shite, and the media lapped it up because United hadn't been at the top for so long. But ultimately with that team, if you held them off and frustrated them, there was always a chance of getting something at the end, as Southampton did in the 76 Cup Final.

Thing was, Docherty was sacked for 'other things' before the media, United and their fans had the chance to find him out to be full of shite... the last thing he did for them was win the FA Cup, so for years until Ferguson, they looked back on him as a kind of golden era. Had he stayed, they would never have won the league, and would have slipped further back into mid-table obscurity that would have seen him gone 3 or 4 years later anyway.

Assuming Rogers doesn't shag any of his staff's wives, I expect the same to happen to him by the end of the decade. I love it that LFC fans think they're on the verge of a golden era to match the 1980s.

Docherty was the start of Utd/City hatred going up to another level imo. Rodgers is getting a lot of City fans who had no dislike for Liverpool, to dislike Liverpool quite a lot, partly because their fans have bought into his disrespectful bullshit in the same way rags' fans did with Docherty.

Brenda is a cunt and one of the things that will give me even more joy on Sunday will be him hiding his fucking bling teeth behind a quivering bottom lip.

Come On City!!!

Just how amusing would it be for Liverpool to register a straight-forward win v Newcastle, only for you lot to score a last-minute equalizer against a spirited Fat Sam West Ham side.

(C'Mon City. Do it the funny way.)

I can't remember any previous time in my long life where my heart was tested as much. Somehow, I don't think it will be tested as much this time.
But I'll make sure to fit in plenty of exercise before then
