Les Chapman Retires

Retiring after the game on Sunday . Been there years , proper joker . A bit sudden ? Hope he gets a great send off !

I hope he joins the players for the lap of honour. Great servant to the club, seems like everyone loved him

He is not leaving the club. He is getting more involved in the media side, doing stuff for the web site etc, it wont be full time nor part time but somewhere in the middle.

We have not seen the last of him.

Think hes a great guy and his humour will have proper helped the team and all around. Glad he's still going to be around hope we see more of his antics on the website!

He should surely move upstairs into one of the lounges to meet and greet guests in an ambassador role,he has been training his apprentices for a while now so i guess it was coming.

True institution of the club.

No doubt he will be sorely missed by the players, every ex-player we see on tunnel cam seems to have a great deal of affection for Chappy.

For all the talk about a clubs "History"... Guys like Chappy is what a clubs history is all about.

He is a part of our clubs history. To all those snubbing our history. Study this guy.

From now on is "biscuits with chappy" a selling point when tempting players?
