Dunno if you saw this, but he was mental and hungry to score today, like he wanted to be his last goal here.

can't see Garcia going unless it's a make weight for a player coming in.Lee_R wrote:I reckon Lescott Micah Garcia Rodwell Sinclair Wright Barry Will all go.

Personally I would sacrifice one of our leftbacks for Luke Shaw, and would like to see Barkley come in to take Rodwell's place.

Couple of weeks ago I'd have agreed about Richards and Rodwell, but if the FFP rap sticks, we may have little choice but to keep them since they're home grown.
Whilst Shaw has had a decent season, I suspect his fee will be ridiculous for a player with potential and we've seen plenty of players who've looked good for one season. There should be much better value available, although that may depend on home grown numbers

Micah turned down our offer to stay with us , his choice.

Two English players coming in, both relatively young and already playing football to a good standard in the Premier League and we would be in a position to handle whatever restrictions are put on us. Both Micah and Rodwell were effectively dead weight this season and we would be at least as well off (and could actually be in a better position) if we'd left them out of the squad and just had two blank spaces.

Is his contract up? Hadn't realised he was one in that position and the talk recently was him going to Liverpool for about £6m
