As the heading asks.. any ideas?..
I'm thinking 2 things. 1 who has won the most medals at City and 2 who have we signed that has won the medals perhaps elsewhere and then with City?
I'm hoping the answer to part 2 isnt an some ex rag.

Tevez and yaya must be in with a shout for part 2.
Who has been with us for league cup, fa cup, cs and two leagues recently. (Before I answer I'm admiring this sentence for a second indulge me)
Hmmm Yaya, Silva, Hart, Vinny, Zaba, JL, Micah from my memory.

I'd imagine Vieira has won the most overall.
As for having won the most WITH us... It's probably a few players joint?

In terms of trophies most with us, then there will be players from the 60s tied with players from the present; league, FA cup, league cup, European cup winners cup, charity shield all 1968-70, plus charity shield in 72. Also depends if you count promotion in 66 as a trophy.
Of course the current team have power to add.

Oakes has a winner's medal for all 7 of our trophies in the 60s-70s. That's according to the irreproachable Wikipedia.
League
FA Cup
Cup Winners' Cup
League Cup x 2
Charity Shield x 2
Something for Vinnie and Zab to aim for.

From memory, I think Vieira won:
3 premier league titles
5 Serie A titles
5 FA Cups
1 World Cup
1 Euro Championship
That is pretty outstanding.
Andy Cole:
5 premier league titles
2 FA Cups
1 Champions League
1 League Cup

The great Bert Trautmann won a few medals before joining City; one of these was the Iron Cross First Class.

Most decorated: Mike Doyle won: 2nd Div, 1st Div, FAC, ECWC, League Cup x2 and was League Cup finalist. Also had 2 Charity Shield.
Alan Oakes won: 2nd Div, 1st Div, FAC, ECWC, League Cup x2 but was not League Cup finalist in 74. Also had 1 charity Shield.
Hopefully one or two (at least) of the current squad will soon overtake Doyle.
Worth remembering for most decorated City player of all time (but not necessarily with City) that Ian Bowyer won ECWC & League Cup with City & went on to win the League, 2 European Cups, 2 League Cups with Forest plus more - okay it doesn't equal Vieira, Weah etc. but still an achievement in English football.
