When you're first instinct is to invade Poland, you're bound to be a little weird.

Diego Costa, David Villa, Filipe Luis, Diego Lopez, Diego Ribas, Courtois all out.

Mandzukic, Griezmann, Guilherme Siqueira, & Jan Oblak all in (the latter 2 from Benfica).

Not too terrible.

Why not practice penalty shoot-outs in front of a crowd at every opportunity? Working on it in training is all very well but can not replicate the in-match situation. This isn't exactly the same but it is as close as you can get. You see this and think they are strange, but who do you see winning international penalty shoot-outs regularly?

The penalty shootout was 5-4 and some one thought to add it to the 2-2 scoreline, alarm bells are ringing Willy.

Are you ready for your point to disappear?

Glad you still live in a world where sides are made up of players from that country, I still think national quotas should be a thing, however Poland, Austria, Brazil, Denmark and Spain all got as much benefit from that shootout as did Germany. If you think that's the secret of their success, I am afraid mistaken you are.

He is brilliant imo and will improve them no end once he settles ( if the deal goes through ) but I agree their defence needs a lot of work.

Do you think this is the first time it has happened?

Where did I mention it benefitting solely Germany?

My point was that English teams should do it.

Your point was German teams do it and your implied point was that is the reason Germany are so successful at shootouts, my point is only one German took a penalty for Bayern, if your implied point is reliant on your stated point, then it's back to Yoda grammar with you.

My first thought when I saw the news was "he's gone next summer then"
But probably the smartest thing for everyone involved, signing this deal and staying at Everton for one year

IMO this is a very good piece of business by them. Cannot see his price tag going down. Its an investment for that price.

And that's what they're about these days, hoping to get a return on their outlay.
