Didn't Alonso sign a new deal before the world cup?
Thats a strange one.

Bayern somehow manage to accomodate several slothful team members without it ruining them, whilst playing a high energy /pressing game. Under two managers as well. Clever.

had a conversation with a liverpool fan who was telling me that their buying has been fantastic this window. I didnt disagree with him, I said time will tell if they are good buys or not. However, he went on to tell me that the suarez money has been spent wisely and they will not fail the FFP guidelines.... I said again that they were in danger of it for sure and time will tell once more, however he was wittering on about it being like for like spending because of the big money suarez transfer plus a few million on top. The thing is, he didnt take into account that the 9 x wages and signing on fees that will severely impact their books when they are released to the FFP team. The thick twat had not even thought about wages? Probably thought they played for the love of the club!

how are arsenal going to cope without giroud for 4 months?

sanogo? really? seems a big risk to put out in a club competing for top 4 and chumps league.

when is walcott coming back? i guess they could play him there, or alexis.

i think that Wenger is convinced about the "false 9" (and yes i'm sick to death of that term) role for Alexis is the option and just because they fucked it up against Everton is no reason to abandon it. He might be right. But if he isn't he's pretty much fucked their entire season. Our French friend does like to take the risk against absolute adversity to try and prove he's smarter than everyone. Compare that to the Count who just wants to do his style and the basics right with the best players possible and let the players sort it out with some minor adjustments. I know which i prefer, and whom i feel represents our club in a more honest way.

For all the media licking that Bacon and Winger and Jose get...when they leave a team they pretty much leave it in turmoil or in Jose's case he creates so much you want him to leave. We, on the other hand, are crafting a rep as a classy bunch of cunts and i love it.

Forza the Count.

cheers

Duncan castles saying Arsenal considering bids for Cavani and Carvalho. That would represent a huge outlay. I do think Wenger's mad not to go after a decent striker but he's very stubborn...,

Arsenal have been "considering" bids for everyone for the last decade.

Exactly. You named .75 actual strikers in that list. Well done.

Cheers

Sanchez will do well up top, Walcott hasn't really been a striker for a few years now has he? I thought he was playing right wing, still he'll score a hatrick and be heralded as the other "option" for Hodgson and then not score for 2 months.

MailOnline Sport is breaking the story that Torres to Milan is done. Costa can't be as badly injured as reported, but we probably knew that considering Sergio also made the gossip column as being hurt.

i don't know if you can assume that just because they're loaning out Torres. Chelsea still has Drogba and can also play Schurrle up top

Mourinho indicated today that Costa may not be fit for weekend but should be okay after the international break (coincidence?). Also BBC reporting Torres is to join AC Milan on a two-year loan deal, subject to agreeing personal terms. Two year loan seems a bit odd.

Loic Remy reportedly signing for Chelski. Bet he's glad he avoided the bin dippers after all.
