Football League: Play-Off Weekend

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Football League: Play-Off Weekend

Postby Beefymcfc » Sat May 24, 2014 2:06 pm

Just started with Derby v QPR, Wally with a Brolly v Droopy. Not sure who I want to see win this one. Derby look a good footballing team but QPR were, well, there when we won the league.

Will be just looking for a good game.
In the words of my Old Man, "Life will never be the same without Man City, so get it in while you can".

If Pirlo was completely blind, he would be Joey Barton.

Shocking game and daylight robbery, one shot on target.

Read yesterday qpr have a higher wage bill than atletico Madrid and Dortmund. There squad should've walked the championship but full of old age mercenaries.

On a brighter note Dunne man of the match, loves a back to the wall game, rolled back the years. Onouaha got o Neil sent off for me, good defender but shocking footballer.

County were all over them, that was all wrong, disappointed for a traditional old football club.

Totally one way traffic. Barton, Nedum and Dunney back at the Etihad. Ill be happy to see the last two.

1 shot in the 89th minute.

Don't think I've ever seen a game like that, apart from the several times it's happened to City.

Steve McClaren was born for this though. It is his true role in life.

Plus sweep! I'd say most of that squad be released as out of contract.

Try no shots on goal and a 1-0 win. Schteve has been on both ends of this sort of thing.

That's one of the occasions I was talking about.

Funnily enough, Richard Dunne seems to be involved in all of them & the key man in several.

Yeah I figured, just wasn't sure if you remembered that it was McLaren that had been the master-mind on that occasion!

There was that game with West Brom, maybe the same season, when Dunne was running towards his own goal and somehow ran the ball into his own net.

Redknapp or Mclaren in the Prem - it's like having a choice of pissing yourself or shitting yourself.

I'd have rather had Schteve and Derby.
