Premier League will be announcing the next season's fixtures this week (day after tomorrow, i.e. 18th June at 9 am BST) ...
Apparently City has requested for first three fixtures to be all away, due to the south stand extension work going on and to allow it to be completed (that probably takes us to the first international break as well I think).
First gameweek is Saturday 16th August. We will of course be at Wembley a week earlier for Community Shield against Arsenal on 10th August.
Another thing to remember is that this will be the computer generated (yeah right, sure whatever) list so it will list all fixtures for all gameweeks at Saturday 3pm kick-offs ... TV companies will then pick and choose their lots and shuffle timings, which loosely happen along these lines:
First Sky will pick and choose which gameweeks it wants first choice on ... (e.g. first gameweek, derbies etc.) they'll put aside first. Then BT will have their first choice (of the game they want) from the gamweeeks Sky didn't want first choice on ... and then they will negotiate with each other, PL, clubs, local police etc. and decide on each week by week as to who plays on Saturday lunchtime slot (BT Sport has it, 1245 kickoffs), then Saturday Night Live (on Sky, 1730 kickoffs) and Super Sunday (1330 and 1600 slots) and finally Monday Night Football (also on Sky, 2000 kickoff, but not every gameweek) ... and then all that is left will remain on Saturday 3pm kickoff (not on TV, in UK).
They will release first set of fixtures (for Aug, Sep and Oct) in a week to ten days after initial list comes out (so end of June, early July), then Nov-Dec fixtures will get the same shuffle around in early October sometime, and next lots for Jan-Feb and Mar-Apr fixtures get the same treatment around a month beforehand. May is the last one that gets announced in early April.
Looking forward to next season already and can't wait. Hoping for a decent start and an easy run-in, ending with a home game for the last gameweek for us, no top 4 games next to Champions League weeks. Oh, and no away games to newly promoted sides in first 5-6 fixtures please.
PS. Needless to say at 9:01am or possibly at 9:00am and some seconds into it, will post all of City fixtures here.

Haha, good stuff.
I'm dreading this. I've been so lucky over the last few seasons how fixtures have fallen into place to suit me, I've been stuffier than the rags in a title race. I've a horrible feeling I'm going to shit out on some biggies this time around.

We are due an away game for the last game of the season.
Last 3 years we have been home to QPR, Norwich and West Ham, I cant see us getting 4 in a row.

We've also had the first game at home in each of those seasons, which had been a pain, as I'm usually on holiday late August, so this change could be good.
If our away form starts like it did last season, we could be playing catch up again. If we start like we finished, we'll be in great shape with one or two extra home games compared to others.

Would be surprised if the League allowed us to move home games for first 3 to away games because of a ground extension. Plenty of clubs in the past including ourselves have played with ground improvements going on. If that reduces the capacity for the first game, the League will probably say that is just tough.
Also I thought the extra 6000 seats would be ready for 2015-16 season not next season?

A quick correction to my earlier point where I said to expect TV fixtures in a week or ten days after this ... I just double checked, last year the initial fixtures came out on 19th June, and then TV fixtures weren't announced till 11th July ... so expect about three weeks instead of one for those final dates etc. to fall into their place for first set of (Aug - Oct) fixtures.

Its a big fixture year for me too. Having worked Saturday's for the five years I've been lucky that i've only missed two league games in that time and they were for a mate's wedding and because I was at another football game.
However, I'm now the match day secretary of West Didsbury & Chorlton and my new commitment requires me to put them ahead of City. Last year I was press officer and was lucky enough that we only clashed 5 times all season.

Whoa ... not easy anywhere ... except maybe start at Newcastle away and ending with a home game against Saints ...
Liverpool at home second game is good for us, very tough for them ...
But then I have a feeling our 4th and 5th fixtures, Arsenal away and Chelsea at home will be around Champions League games ...
And in the run-in we have the Away derby and Spurs away ... actually the run in otherwise isn't that bad.

Looks like a tough start, but if we're there or thereabouts after the dippers at the end of Feb we should win it.

Toughest thing about that list is that we are Away immediately after Champions League matchdays 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6. Arse.

Who cares, a load of those fixtures will all get changed in the next few weeks. They should release them to the tv companies first and then everyone else a few days later once they have scheduled the TV stuff ... its just total timewasting bollox tbh

Good - if promoted sides do ok, it's usually early on when teams know less about them. I doubt van gaal watched a lot of Burnley last season and he's hardly going to be catching up on them this summer

Seems like an unusually late finish to the season to me? 2 weeks later than normal.
Any ideas as to why this might be?
Quite happy with the schedule, tough first 5 games, then after that the "tougher" games are reasonably spread out. Christmas fixtures aren't too bad, and that run in is delightful!

The gameweek won't change ... we will still play out the games in this order (only maybe towards the end of the season if some get left out with later stages of FA cup or another League Cup Final) ... but the TV game changes will only be a time change on the same weekend, so (as I explained at the start of the thread) all fixtures are Sat 3pm kick-offs by default, then TV picks get slotted into Sat 1245, 1730 and Sunday 1330, 1600 and Monday 2000 in two monthly blocks ... but essentially the ORDER of the games we play will remain the same.

January looks tough. Start is tough but it will concentrate the minds. Good run in.
