Wembley '99 Book

Hello chaps,

Didn't want to post this thread unless I'd had permission to do it, given I've not posted here with any regularity (and not at all since about 2007!), but I was wondering if there'd be any objections to me posting a thread about my book on Wembley '99. It's a series of interviews with all of the 11 starters, 3 subs and the manager from that game 15 years ago.

It's available from my website for £10 here: http://www.davemooney.co.uk/books/looks ... ext-season
And on Kindle here: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Looks-Like-Scun ... 00LDFVC4O/

If it helps any, I'd be willing to donate a copy as a competition prize if you'd like to run a competition - let me know how that could run!

Cheers,
David

I am reading this at the moment and can recommend it. Lots of memories as well as learning what each player has done since 99 and where they are now.

Well written and obvious that a lot of work went into it.

A donation of the book to some sort of comp would probably be very welcome but what if we want to buy, where do we go?

Can't belive you've not got Dickov on his knees on the front cover. Better be inside the book ;-)

Kindle, can you get ten minutes of burn out of that.

I'm a fire starter, that's the way I roll. Old school.

If there's a book to be donated, I'd suggest sending one to one of the libraries here that got destroyed in the floods, so the young 'uns know that Rags are things you wipe up detritus with...

Hi all,

Didn't want to post a buy link before asking, since I realise I'm not a regular poster over here!

I'm selling hard copies on my website at http://www.davemooney.co.uk/books/looks ... ext-season - and there's options for them to be sent worldwide, however the postage can get a bit steep, especially if they're going to the USA or Australia.

Still very happy to run a competition with Man City Fans too. :)

As for the Dickov knee-slide, sadly I couldn't get the rights to it! It's a screengrab from the Sky Sports footage. :(

Cheers,
David

Please would anybody who has read the book leave it an honest review on its Amazon page?

Many thanks!
