Apart from a bit of stupidity near the end, Zucculini looked closer to being a first team player than any of the other kids imo.

What the fuck is wrong with Sinclair ? It's almost as if he's deliberately trying to be shit. He ghosts past players then just kind of falls down an imaginary hill sideways.

I liked Denayer and Fernando from the first half, Zuccolini looked decent from the bits inbetween the stream cutting out in the second.

Denayer is a class act imo, but I have reservations as to whether he will have the required aerial presence for a Prem cb.

If he does develop that then he will really be something in that position one day. If not, we should still be able to find a position for him maybe def mid, as he's a decent footballer as well as a defender.

You can definitely tell Zucculini has spent two years playing proper professional football as opposed to sitting on a bench or playing for a youth team. Looks a lot more at ease playing than most of the kids do, or the sicknotes like Rodwell/Sinclair etc etc

Hardly the best match for my sons first ever City game but it was a friendly and more of a training match for City than anything else

Have to say, as a regular at St Johnstone, I know a lot of the Scottish grounds are poor but f**k me what a dump Dens Park is

Couple of observations from the stands;

Guidetti was completely useless - others were poor and obviously nowhere near match fit but Guidetti was in a league of his own (Conference Premier)

Negredo - apart from Caballero (who spent 5 minutes with the fans at the end of the game) Alvaro was the only one of the squad to come across to the fans and sign autographs / pose for selfies. He must have spent at least 15 minutes doing this and a lot of respect to him for doing so when the rest of the squad just headed into the dressing room without even acknowledging the fans (it could be argued that he showed more interest and expended more energy signing shirts etc than he did when he was on the pitch but that would be nit picking !!)

Whoever was wearing 71 in the first half (centre back / left back role - ? Denayer ) had a very solid game

Best moment of the game came outside the stadium an hour before kick off;

A large executive coach with blacked out windows slowly approaches and stops outside the players entrance

'' is this the Dundee players bus?'' asks one voice in the crowd

''no mate'' responds another voice, ''they're on the number 62 from the city centre''

He was the one City player that was refusing to take photos / sign autographs at the open training session.

People were talking about it in the pubs before the game.

And what were they saying about Navas? Why was he booed in the first half?

Navas was booed every time he touched the ball, probably because some thick cunt in the pub heard the conversation mentioned, & can't notice any difference between the names.
