Unfortunately, I think that's fair comment & have thought the same for some time re Rusnak.
It's such a fine line from being brilliant at one stage, to 'not quite good enough ' at the next. But It's important to find jobs for as many of these kids as we can. If we look after them, then City is a good place to go, even if they don't make it at our club. Rusnak was undoubtably talented but the younger competition coming through is probably already better than he is now.
From anoter perspective, Ive been told of a kid coming through right now, who doesn't himself think he's good enough, & I wonder if quite a few are realistic enough to think that way, but imo, this other lad is borderline & shouldn't write himself off just yet, but I understand the reasons behind it (serious talent coming through). But even so, pure talent isn't everything (ask Gary Nev**** & John Terry). I hope some kids don't throw in the towel, just because they see talent queueing up behind.
